I will get back to the 80 Silverado eventually. I know everybody doesn't love utvs but it's something I have always loved since my first one. Being able to get a brand new top of the line Ranger and totally customize it fulfills one of those dreams I have always had. I hope people understand that.
why do you need a relay? What not just wire it to accessory power on the bus bar, can use a switch if needed? I am trying to learn as i see many people use relays for their led lights when I dont see a need in their application. What is the purpose of the relay here?
So you aren't drawing all the power through the bus bar. The key on power is not designed to pull a lot of power. You will blow fuses and cause yourself trouble if you do.
@@mossman381 Thank you very much for the info! Makes complete sense. i just did more research on this, i was always wondering why people were using relays on these rangers. Its a 10amp fuse supplying the whole accessory power to the entire bus bar. Thanks so much for the insight!
