These Manthey guys are Porsche GT wizards. Tasked with making the already hard core 4RS, more hard core. I’m looking forward to see what they do with the 992 3RS.
Im surprised Manthey-Racing was still helping porsche design even better versions of their road going sports cars, but what i find even more surprising is that they chose the 718 rather than the 911 this time
@@Belgian-Motorsport what upgrades are done to this GT4RS? I spot larger wing, racing seat, and canards instead of the curtain. Exhaust tips look stock but sound is different? Suspension?
@@Nord_Mann as they do at Manthey racing, a whole lot of aero upgrades; larger wing with bigger endblades, rear-wheel aero discs, canards, underbody aero management, etc. Also, the GT4 RS in the video is slightly lowered. The GT4 RS MR furthermore gets a lighter and louder exhaust and an upgraded and probably stiffer suspension. Racing seats won't be standard, they just equipped the shown GT4 RS with a racing bucket seat because of the intense track testing they're doing. I don't have any numbers, tracktimes or specs, only what they are working on...
@@gt4rspage yeah, the racing seat is always used on testing prototypes of both manthey cars and normal Porsche gt cars. At least in Germany they are not road legal because of the “ears” next to the drivers head
They should have let you take onboard videos or at least sound. The exterior sound always sounds too deep and dull on GT4 / RS compared to 911 gt3 versions
