Oh wow, what a lovely barn find ! 😍 About 15 years ago a friend had a white one of these, a bone stock Swift GTI 16V, and that thing was pretty quick for what it was. Lightweight and happily revving like crazy, was a very fun daily driver. ☺👍

Loved my 91 swift gti, ss-gti chip, srd cams+verniers, janspeed 4-1 and system, revved to 9k used to smash most modded 106 gti/saxo vts’s!….My mate had a budget built t28 turbo, stock engine, 550 injectors, Walbro 255, greddy emanage made 230bhp! Died due to rot the same as many 😢

I’m so excited about the swift, I had a couple of GTi’s when they were new back in the day. The thing I love about them is they are pretty much bulletproof. Thanks for the channel, Suzuki’s rule👍🇯🇵

What you have there looks like an AVO turbo kit from the 90s on the swift. It also has a Cultus inlet manifold made from tubing not cast alloy. I bought my swift new in 94 i still have it 😅

these buggers used to be EVERYWHERE in the 2000s (cos it was the cheapest new car you could buy) fast fours and rotisirie chickens mag used feature one a month with cosworth bonnet vents, simmons wheels and many subs in the boot. jamie bezzina used to have the wildest one: turbo AND 4wd. big deal back in the 2000s as he had to cut the awd chassis out to make it work.

Suzuki swift gti 's are mad fun and only weighing 900kgs. I had a black one with mild cam and four in one exhaust. It would beat new 2018 commodores and rev easily to 9000rpm! Gearboxes didn't last though.

Always wanted a swift gti almost swaped one for my n14 sss. But typical boostcruising no show lol

Get a Subaru justy 4x4 and swap the engine into that get 1.6 60fts and 11.s with a small turbo kit

Just keep the Gti below 300whp or else you'll end up with a 2 piece block LOL. (There were no knock sensors or provision for on Oz delivered g13b's)

AVO down in Victoria made turbo kits for these back in the 90s which looks like where that turbo manifold and intercooler came from. I bolted one up to my GTI swift, was a fast little car for the time, the gearbox and clutch didn’t like it though😅😅
