I have been facing this issue for almost a year now and also dry mouth. I first thought it is from mouth so I got my teeth cleaned and the dentist assured me that it will cure the bad breath but it didn’t. I have gerd issues but that is normal from a while and i also think i have sinus because i usually have running nose when i get up and a kind of irritation in nose. At work I have to talk to many people and it kills my confidence when they rub their nose. I just forget what i was talking about and it is creating problems for me. I brush my teeth twice a day. Eat chewing gums entire day and keep my mouth hydrated by drinking water yet this shit isn’t going away. until I meant Dr Emovon on RU-vid. Thank you for this! Wondering if you know much about ioRinse that was recommended to my son (23) for his gums by a new dentist. It is awful tasting and looks like you would not want to put it in your mouth. Any other suggestions that are maybe easier to get (not from the dentist) and possibly more cost effective? Just changed dentists due to that ours just retired and this was never the case. Always a little leary when going to someone new. TIA

Closys ultrasensitive mouthwash before you brush to make sure the PH is good before brushing. Brush. Listerine original then act cavity repair fluoride mouthwash which also is alkaline so the listerine won't be acidic in your mouth.

Briefly, at pH of 5.5 or below, enamel can demineralize, at a pH of 6.5 or below, dentin erodes. Most all mouthwashes have a pH below 6.5 except Biotene, Therabreath, CloSys, and CTX3. All these have pH above 7.0. Best bet use CTX3 for anticavity and CloSys for antimicrobial. 6:16

I found success more out of alcohol free mouthwash. But I use two types and two brands simultaneously for the past year and I gotten less problems when I do my teeth cleaning. All mouthwash claim they kill germs but in actuality, they are not made equally. One mouthwash claims it can do one thing for your teeth, but lacks what you need for optimum gum health. Thats why I chose to use a mouthwash that claim to kill bacteria and use it before I brush. After I brush, I use a mouthwash that contains fluoride. If you pay attention to the active ingredients, not all mouthwash has fluoride which is critical for enamel restoration. You will also find that anti bacterial mouthwash is good for killing bacteria in the gum line, but don't contain fluoride. So thats why I use both and had better trips when I did my teeth cleanings.

@jenniferosea Listerine, the purple kind that "markets" enamel restoration and so on. And Crest that "markets" 24 hr gum protection and antibacterial. The reason why I emphasize the market is because that's what the promise is on the label and can't scientifically verify thier claims. All I can say is that my gum line has been healthier, and the my dental hygienist had be complementing me after my last two teeth cleanings after using these two , Crest first, floss second, brush third and listerine last.

Those mouthwashes are causing more harm than good. Rinsing with a fluoride mouthwash washes away the toothpaste replacing a high level of fluoride (stannous is best) with a low level in the mouthwash. And the other is likely doing very little especially when you're rinsing it away anyway. Stannous is already anti bacterial though. Did you even listen to this video though, a dentist explained this

@user-tx4wj7qk4t Well, I kind of disagree because the Listerine Total Care, the purple stuff, is the active ingredient of fluoride in the same fluoride in toothpaste. The blue and the gold for sure just only have what disinfect the germs that cause bad breath but lack the teeth, strengthening claims and ingredients.

@@The_Oblivion_Light it's a lot less fluoride and it's sodium instead of stannous. Also linked with a number of side effects due to the formulations. If mouthwash was actually effective then toothpaste would have no purpose, the 10 seconds you have it on your teeth before you Rinse it away with mouthwash does absolutely nothing
