Dude you need a break from buying watches. That felt like a guy whose fallen out of love with the whole hobby as it’s simply become about purchasing the big watches and not about what you actually love and will enjoy. It’s a trap I think we have all been in.

Most neurotic state of the collection I've ever seen :D I was in a similar situation and I sold almost every watch that i owned. Now I have some sort of a grail watch that I wear the most, and a g shock. I can't say that this solved the problem but it's the closest thing to a normal life that i am capable of.

Lots of very cool watches. Also fun fact, they changed the name from Uncle Seiko to Uncle straps because they have been expanding more and more into making bracelets for all kinds of watch brands. They felt the seiko name wasnt really fitting anymore. If you heard the name you'd think they only make Seiko straps and bracelets.

This video is a wake up call for me to stop buying and start wearing. I have tried to consolidate down to 3-4 watches (which are more than capable of covering all bases) so far unsuccessfully, but you made me realize less is more. Awesome collection btw, I hope you enjoy it and find a way to be happy with it.

You sure have some beautiful drool worthy pieces there Kevin that I am sure you are proud of. Maybe add a chronograph like a Speedmaster and then call it a day after you sell off some of the ones you never wear. Kudos to your brutal honesty, and no baloney approach to talking about watches. Very nice collection! You and I have the same taste in watches. We also have the same problem with not wearing enough of our watches. That's the problem with having this many watches. I also have around 40. I also agree that the hunt can be more fun than the acquisition. Once the watch is bought it goes in the watch box and then it tends to just sit there unworn. But that is the sickness of this hobby!

I get watch burnout too, once a year, every year since I started collecting. Always in December, I take a month off, no videos, articles, don’t even wear or look at any of my watches. Then I ease back into in January and am always more keen than ever. My advice to you, take a a couple weeks off from watches man, you won’t regret it

Same thing happened to me. Take a break, after a year I fell back in love. Good to have a few hobbies. I also collect antiques and magazines.

An idea would be to select a few favourites and lock the rest away for a few months. If you don't miss the others and are happier, sell the others. Or give the cheaper ones away through the channel to get subscriptions up.

What an amazing collection. This one really resembles mine honestly, maybe that’s why I enjoyed it so much. Having said that, I do feel like you fell into the same trap many of us have by just buying to buy. I luckily was able to get out of that habit quickly and I didn’t lose too much money before I realized it.
