2023 SUPER POWERS 2 WAVE FOUR | McFarlane Toys 

I absolutely love these figures and the fact that these are being made in 2023! I love mixing them in my classic Super Powers display, I know that may be blasphemous to some but I feel like a kid all over again when I find these on shelves. Glad the "great clearance purge" of wave 1 hasn't seemed to slow the momentum of these. I hop McFarlane goes really deep into DC lore - I'd love more Superman villains (regular Lex/Power Suit Lex, Braniac, Cyborg Superman, Eradicator), Flash villains, and some (or better yet, all!) of the Justice Society.

Great to see these! BTW - Darkseid also. So three villains, but the point still stands. Would love to see a Joker, Penguin, Braniac, etc.

100% agree on the Robin cape and accessories. And, that Batman. It’s the Chef’s kiss. I’d like to see them do what they did with that Batman with *everybody* else! I’ve debated about getting Nightwing, but it kinda looks like we need a new version to fit in. I take it they have fixed the pop open cockpit breakage issue that plagued the Batwing? I do hope for more villains. And some other remakes like a classic Firestorm. And a take on the Blue Beetle.

We need more villains! When are we going to get Joker, Lex Luthor, The Cheetah, and others to go against our heroes?

I totally agree. The line is getting much better. Once they dial in the heights, it will be my favorite line. I passed on the Batmobile because I have the original super powers version and space is a premium. Love the Invisible Jet. And Detective Batman is perfect! Tim Drake I have with my Hush Batman and Nightwing. I still can’t believe this line exists. I am very happy so far. I am bummed about manta, as a Walmart exclusive, I don’t think I will ever find him.

These vehicles are a blast! How is this Batmobile so cool. The Invisible jet is slick. Nightwing flying the Bat Wing while Batman and Robin attend in the Bat Mobile is cool. Fun stuff.

I'm seriously thinking this is going to be my main McFarlane DC line. There's already a classic Wonder Woman, with a variant.

I’d love to see more classics villains, or a whole wave detected to villains. Classic Joker, Penguin, Lex Luthor, Sinestro, Riddler would be amazing.

I collect the most dc multiverse figures I’d say but I’m really enjoying the new offerings from DC superpowers

I may still pickup the batmobile on clearance at Walmart since they skipped a few waves here. The Classic Detective Batman is by far my favorite. He goes great with the Kenner Batmobile and the 'Casey Kasem' Robin from the original line. Love the Invisible Jet.

I love when McFarlane gives reviewers toys to review that most of us will never find.

That’s one of the coolest designed Batmobiles in toy form that’s ever been made. And lots easier to get than the ‘89 Batmobile lol

Was it my imagination or did I hear Deathstroke's vertebrae snap when Wonder Woman yoinked him up with her winch. That invisible jet is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

He scales very well with the original SP figures... which is key.!! Love the line.!! You are right: ...more Villains would be nice... more Heroes, too.!! Great potential going forward.... Suggestion: Blue Beetle ... in The Bug..!!?? With The Question, ...Nightshade,.... Captain Atom... The Peacemaker..?? (I would love to see the Golden Age Justice Society of America...and Golden Age Villains...)

Old enough to remember having the figures from the 80's. Not collecting anymore, but this might change my mind. Very cool.

Okay we have figures and vehicles the more the better as far as I'm concerned. Next we need playsets. Hall of Justice and Hall of Doom anyone? By the way I have been haunting our local Walmarts with no success. These were suppose to be out in July and now it is the beginning of August.

I just started collecting these figures and I’m kinda disappointed at the lack of villains. I really want a Joker, Lex Luthor, Harley Quinn, and Black Adam but I also want some of my favorite heroes like Dr. Fate or Shazam.

Great review. Now that I have SP Black Manta in hand I realize that Todd went with the Super Friends Legion of Doom design for him. It makes sense in so much as if he had come out during the original 80’s super powers run that would have been the look they would have gone with

I think if there were a Marvel line at the same scale I’d just give up on articulation and go for this. I don’t know why compatibility between the 2 big superhero companies’ action figures seems like such a low priority.

Not going to lie, I was collecting this line just to keep MOC. But these two new vehicles made me open them all lol.

Classic Detective Batman is good ... BUT why does he still not have the blue face of the original Super Powers figure?. Is he supposed to be a take on Batman 66 or a take on Batman Kenner Super Powers, i dont think McFarlane can make their minds up. I just want a figure that looks like the original but they keep getting it wrong, 3rd time lucky McFarlane.

Robin is Burt Ward and only him! I didn't know there was another one! I still will pick one up. But, it's depressing that they didn't make the original Robin to go with the original style or original super friends Batman I mean!

The only one of all this line that is the best is the Batman retro and the Batmobile. The other figures look awful
