The first academic semester of the USVM is over. For four months, Ukrainian veterinarians have been studying eight different and equally important specialisations: from veterinary nephrology and surgery to diseases of exotic animals.
🖊 More than 30 lecture days were held, which were joined by 1,500 participants. In both Kyiv and Lviv, the classes were held in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Everything was thought out to make the students feel easy and confident, as if they were at home.
Against the backdrop of complex challenges, stress and experiences caused by the war, USVM has become not only an educational project, but also a psychological support and a pillar of strength for practicing and future veterinarians. No matter what mood the students come in. The most important thing is that everyone took with them not only a certificate, but also a sincere smile.
The USVM did not forget about colleagues involved in animal husbandry. Especially for them, an online section "Diseases of productive animals" was organised, in which a specialist with 30 years of experience Ion Moraru shared his experience!
In September, the Ukrainian School of Veterinary Medicine also launched free online English lectures for Ukrainian veterinarians. In four months, the students have learnt professional vocabulary and significantly improved their level. They even managed to find friends among their American colleagues who joined the classes.
