Great to see an update from you, Adam. Another beautifully spec’d bus but, that’s what I’ve come to expect from you. I’ve always been a fan of the black wraparound on the windows. Thanks for sharing!👍🏻
A lighted sign CE, an EFX and HDX, wow you are growing out! The black wrap is very sharp while new, one of our 2011s is quite faded and looks not the best, but I'm sure you guys will take awesome care of this beast!
Hey Adam! So happy when I saw this video pop up in my subscriptions! I love the black wrap-around windows (black window posts). Growing up, a local PA school district had black wrap-around windows on their 2007-2009 units, and I always thought it looked so sleek and futuristic, still to this day. I spied a Thomas HDX in the back...would love to see a video of how that bus came to be.
Hey Adam your videos has inspired me to become a successful School Bus Service Owner I hope that God Continues. To bless you, your family and I hope that Swann Transportation continues to grow and I wanna become a driver for you in the future and that Bus Is amazing for Marching Band Trips and I was wondering when will you make another video.
This is definitely a beautifully spec'd bus. The black window posts are different from the other C2's in the fleet. I love those LED headlights. Those fog lights in the back are different than the 2020's because they are angled more downwards which makes more sense. Because the weather you guys get makes more sense to angle those fog lights. New for Thomas is the mudflaps say Thomas Built Buses Because Every Mile Matters. I definitely love the black wrap on the windows.
I really do like the spec on this new 2023 Thomas C2, I really like how the outside of the bus looks. Also you're really blew my mind when you said that this bus has Wi-Fi built-in, it is crazy how that's possible these days! Otherwise beautiful addition to the fleet. It's great to see you back Adam, I was curious to see how your buses are working these days. Although I do have a request if you don't mind, could you possibly give us an update video on some of the other places that have come in that you showed on camera in this video?
Nice spec! I wish our C2s were specced like yours. I'm happy to see the traditional parking brake knob and not that stupid Intellipark switch. Godspeed to you!
I agree, if drivers cant move their arm forward just a tad to put it in park then they need retrained or evaluated, it shouldn't stop manufacturers from ceasing that Traditional Parking Brake Knob.
I used to watch school bus videos several years ago, but haven't seen any in years. Suddenly this one and another showed up in my feed. In the 70s our church had two old school buses that they used as Sunday School buses. They got rid of one of them in the mid 70s, but the other one they kept into the early 80s. That one my father used to borrow on occasion, and he used to also bring it home for routine maintenance. It was a 1965 Superior on International Loadstar 1700 chassis. Dad always said it was 37 feet, bumper to bumper. It was a 54 passenger with 11 rows of seats, with 3-seaters on one side of the aisle and 2-seaters on the other side of the aisle, except the far back row had a 2-seater on both sides of the emergency door. It had a gas V-8 with 5-speed stick shift and no A/C. But it did have rear heat. The last time my Dad brought it home was in 1981, and I took a few pictures of it. I'm amazed at how advanced current buses are.
I would love to get behind the wheel of that one, I miss my Thomas. Internationals just aren't the same. I think the air conditioning would be the best part, we don't have that here.
Glad to see some new content. A company near me specs the black all way around, with chrome bezels and brackets. I think that looks best. How big is your fleet now? Glad to see you're still rollin'!!
you should do videos on the Shorties, and the HDX. the Detroit sounds amazing in this one, and Alcoas always look good. Thomas did a great job with these new C2s...!
I’m currently in VA when I graduate this year I plan on moving to Cab County NC, doing their all inclusive CDL class B for they buses driving a year and if you hire drivers with experience at 18-19, I’d like to come drive for you, when your video about 68 first came out 4 years ago now, I told myself that I’d end up driving it lol I’d like to keep that true.
Ah. Thought you may have bought out a contractor or something. I feel like MD spec buses, in general, are highly equipped so they integrate into your fleet well
Hey Adam I’m a transportation guy here in Mississippi and would love to contact you through email to see how you order your buses and get a few part codes from such as the docking lights my sales guy can’t seem to find them on his spec form and I really would like to have them
Why don't you buy exclusively Internationals? I think all school bus manufacturers should put half seats in the last row so as not to block the emergency door. I like the lower seat backs in this. Blue Bird's high seat backs block vision and are dangerous.
