I was predominantly Innova, Discmania until i started throwing anything from MVP. The plastics and machining of the discs coupled with the consistency they bring to the table is unrivaled. Looking forward to you diving more into MVP in 2024 bro ✌️
If you like the Hex to be in the bag, I would suggest getting a couple of Watermelon Hex’s. They are a bit more overstable but in my opinion is the best Hex ever made. I stacked up on them aswell
I just picked up a lightweight Fission octane 163grams and hit my PR distance twice today first 445 second 450. the 445 was in a 10-15 mph headwind as well.
Smart move switching the crave with the glitch. 4:11 . I agree that the glitch is such a great and fun disc but I just won’t throw it in a tournament. Now the crave on the other hand, I have two. One that got ran over by a garbage truck and is now stable and a fission one that is a perfect flip up to slight turn. Love them both.
My go-to forehand driver is the Zenith. I think you chucked one in the water a while back 😅. It in Plasma bombs reliability, and in Neutron it's a solid stable control driver.
The Tempo is the new approach disc coming out this year. Apparently it's great, but so far it's only been released for circuit challenges and maybe gyropalooza boxes
I used to putt decently (for a non-competitive casual player) with ions for about 2 years. Just made the switch to anodes at the start of this year and my % has risen noticeably.
You gotta try the Terra as a forehand disc. I tried a zillion discs until I found my precious. 😂 I couldn't find anything in */*/0/2 or */*/0/3 that could handle torque well until the Terra
Prism plasma envy is the most overstable. I’ve thrown the envy in every plastic and bag 2, a beat in neutron and the prism plasma. Also the difference between the echo and the hex, is that the echo is a -1.5,1.. so it’s a bit more flippy
@@JohnDubU like gld3gld3 says, the proton is similar to the neutron but I’d say the proton beats in slower and when it stops beating in, it’s a bit more stable in its final form.
Nate - I've got about 15 L2 Timelapses and I've been lucky enough to win a giveaway from your channel. I would 💯 send you a couple, so you can have enough spares to get one in your bag!
@@darkndeed6311 I haven't gotten my hands on a tempo yet, but I hope it's not as skippy as my pyros tend to be. For me the stabilizer just wasn't quite torque resistant enough on a forehand to keep it in the bag.
Why should he use a driver as an approach disc? I know that many do, especially rec and am players, but Nate uses A2 as an approach disc and he has bagged Firebird for longer forehands. If we wanted a driver as an approach disc, then he'd use Firebird or something similar as an approach disc instead of A2. Driver is a great approach disc in various situation and especially when skip is needed, but I don't like the idea of having a driver as main approach disc. Skips and rolls too easily and not as easy to control the speed.
Idk about you but mine felt straighter than I expected it to be. Feels great just wasnt as stable as I was expecting and I only throw the disc about 320 max on a good day so maybe the colors were more or less stable.😅
Perhaps it’s the plastic? I’m with the entropy crowd. I have a Cosmic Neutron Entropy that won’t hold any turn. Which is why I also bag a Stabilizer. Lol
That Tesla is dope! I don't think you mentioned, how much does it weigh? 😉 No mention of Atom?! The disrespect! I think it was a solid round. What is on the menu for today? Please say seafood linguine.
Best manufacturer. Their distance driver game needs work. Maybe the proton/fission Time Lapse will help. Their approach discs are just bad, including the tempo. I also wish they had a better straight to stable midrange like the pathfinder or MD3ish.
@@kimmomatikainen1843 Just not very good imo. It's less torque resistant and doesn't go very far in comparison. The best disc they have for that slot is the Atom, which is actually insanely far flying and torque resistant. Just not quite fast enough.
It is a great understable midrange, but in most cases too understable if person throws midrange 300 ft. If MVP/Axiom is needed, then Detour would be the one. And Paradox for person who throws max 200 ft I like the flight of Uplink, but don't like the shape of it. These are personal preferences. I am slowly moving away from MVP/Axiom/Streamline though. Have to get one Detour though for test.
