​@cubeman6639 I love Mikey but on our team he'd be redundant. He plays the same role as Branch, Iffy, and CJ. A team can only have so many hybrid nickel corner/strong safeties

​@@cubeman6639we signed sutton 33m/3yr last year. We're rolling with him til the end of that contract, 2 more years at least. He was really good for the Steelers in a CB2 role and clearly was playing on an injured foot for the back half of the season. He's a CB2 who we asked to play as a CB1 because our plan to draft Devon Witherspoon at #6 fell through when Seattle took him. He'll look a lot better if he isn't being asked to cover the Justin Jefferson, DJ Moore, Brandon Aiyuk, Mike Evans, and CeeDee Lambs of the world on an island. If we pick up a certified #1 CB in the draft (which is very deep at CB), I'm confident Sutton can have a bounce-back year as the CB2 he is meant to be.

He’s not really that bad…. He had like 3 bad games out of 20. Who cares, he’s a human and he makes his mistakes too.

He'd be redundant on our team, he plays the exact same role as Brian Branch and Iffy, who certainly dont need to be replaced.

@@cubeman6639 Branch was also a CB in college but converted to Nickle CB because he’s too small and too slow to play boundary CB, Mikey is in the exact same situation, he’s too small to play outside CB at an NFL level.

Agree there’s nothing worse than watching a QB with a clean pocket. I hate having to blitz like crazy. Paschal needs to step up. Maybe he can emerge this year, but we need a lot more depth at pass rush.
