Great review! Pleasure to watch as always! Does it shift weird only in sport mode or does it shift weird all the time? Just wondering if normal mode is OK because there have been some complaints about the 8 speed automatic being jerky and gear hunting a lot.
My experience in a couple different Camry's I owned, 19 and 22, is that the transmission takes a little while to program to your driving style. The weirdest shifting happened in Eco mode. I don't know if switching between modes confuses the transmissions little brain but I have found that the fuel savings in eco mode is negligible. I leave it in regular mode and it has been fine especially after a few thousand miles of breaking in.
@@turo3066 The Eco mode is good while driving on the expressway.. I have a 2020 Toyota Camry XLE non-hybrid and I get 48.2 MPG on the highway on a trip.. the Eco mode really hampers the speed and transmission in the city if you press on the gas a lot.. you have to learn the transmission yourself to fit your driving needs..
I wish these WERE steelies like on the hybrid model. Anybody who wants this car in AWD is doing it for snow. Makes no sense throwing wider wheels/tires for something made for winter driving.
Thanks, too bad you didn’t explain more about the AWD. I want to know when it activates. I think this is exactly what I want but the dealership never has any.
Too expensive, for what you get, besides maybe reliability? If you’re lucky? $26k car, plus, and doesn’t come with heated seats, mirrors, everything cost more $$$$ if you want it!
Tell TOYOTA THAT MOST CUSTOMERS REALLY WANT A REGULAR AM FM RADIO WITH CD PLAYER. STOP WITH THE DAMN SCREENS ALREADY!!! AND IF THE CUSTOMER WANTS TO SWAP OUT THE FACTORY RADIO FOR LETS SAY A KENWOOD why cant we do that anymore???? When I get a Camry someday I will most likely leave the screen off in my car
You can't leave no screen off or tamper with anything like that it is connected to your information center and other components.. You get used to things once you have it for a while..
@@charlesjackson1700 In your dreams .....this is why for now I stick with USED....from Hertz, Enterprise, and Avis car sales....screens are garbage. I just want a key and an ignition
@@javiervelez892 That goes for a car that still uses the key in the ignition is well.. I keep a check on the battery and replace them before they die.. When the battery gets weak in the fob it gives me a WARNING ON THE SCREEN.. WAY AHEAD OF TIME ! It lets me know the battery is getting weak and it needs to be replaced.. They are making these cars smarter than you think.. If someone made a key fob without me knowing it to steal my car.. I get a notice on my dash for nine days informing me..
