I'm in New Jersey and there are really horribly rough roads in this state. I use Lyft a good amount of time and every Toyota Corolla I've been in has rode exceptionally comfortably over rough roads. I think the ride quality is excellent, borderline outstanding. You have to hit something really broken or a deep pothole to really feel anything serious in the Corolla. The hybrids are very quiet around town. It's got good room, it's solid. To me, it's a great vehicle.
I’m a big fan of Toyota. I’ve had a Corolla, and I presently have a Prius. The best car overall. Great gas mileage, dependable reliable with function. Just passed 350k mikes and it’s still going strong 💪🏼 I’m looking forward to making 400k miles 😃👍🏼
I'm picking up my first '23 Corolla Hybrid this weekend. I drive about 300 miles a day as a courier, and I'm looking into seeing how much I save on gas with the hybrid. This will be my 3rd Corolla in two years, all are great cars!
I'm going to tomorrow to put a deposit for the exact car tomorrow. Which state are you in, and how much is going to cost you, with added fees and markups, but without taxes?
So I paid 30k otd and love it so far but it feels like build quality has gone down from my previous Toyota, everything feels more flimsy and cheap, the back of the seats don’t even have slips to put things in, all of the plastics are nice but it seems quality has gone down to reduce costs. I’m wondering if there was a better car for the price I paid, but at the same time dealerships are out of stock and used cars are the only options
This is one of the cheaper toyotas out there. Even if you got a nicer trim level, it's still a cheap car so maybe the quality reflects this. Not many cars below 30k now... Maybe a new prius would have been better, it seems the interior is more luxurious
The Elantra Hybrid Limited trim is 30K. I imagine after extended warranty, gap, etc. you'd be 32-35 OTD. The only thing better about Toyota Hybrids is the warranty on the battery.
'Dealer Add Ons', Possible Convenience Pkg, and Destination Charge. If it doesn't have the CP...whoever buys this needs to get those add ons removed in negotiations.
Not actually. You can buy BOlt EUV which is fully electric range of 230 miles for around $28k after EV tax credits. To make matters worse toyota and their dealers are adding market adjustment of aroung 4k-5k usd in form of unnecessary accessories.
I saw many 2023 Corolla hybrid promotions and the multi-information display designs are different from every 2023 Corolla hybrid, is that an option that the buyer has the option to choose from?
How is the CVT. Have they fixed the sluggish accelleration as well as noise when you descend a steep hill with your foot on the brake so you don't brake the speed limit. Also is BSM standard.
@@alvinsimba734 Where are they built my friend. I think I need to write a letter to Toyota Australia and find out as to why we still don't have it as standard in 2023. I have to get it as an option in the sedan. I think finally in the hatch it's standard. Go figure.
I live in Phoenix. My 2010 Prius fell apart so I traded it for the 2923 KE corolla hybrid last Saturday. I do door dash. So far, I'm averaging 52.2 Miles per gallon, Mostly city, some freeway. I don't baby it either, I just drive it the way I would any other car.
I had a Honda Civic and a Honda Accord. I will NEVER buy another Honda. Nothing but issues on both of them. I have a 2010 Scion tC now and haven't had to do anything but change the oil.
I'll take the Elantra hybrid over the Corolla hybrid. Corolla still gives rental car vibes. Elantra is more Audi-esqe and sportier in design and offer way more premium features.
Hyundai ain't what it used to be. I've heard horror stories about them finding ways to not honor their warranty requiring owners to seek legal help. Also note that the Elantra fold down rear seats don't allow as large a trunk pass through as the Corolla does. A pair of ski's are no problem, but anything much larger is a no go. Also Hyundai is several years behind Toyoto in hybrid technology. if you're comparing ICE cars both are good, but for a Hybrid, Toyota has the edge. I owned an ICE Elantra a few years ago and it was a fine car until I hit a slick road and got into a skid that I couldn't get out of. Maybe the cars weight distribution was to blame, but the car was totalled.
Both nice. Corolla is a bit more comfortable overall. Elantra is stylish but some may find the exterior over-styled. Inside, the Elantra may have a few more questionable materials.
