I really like how utilitarian they made the interior. No extra fancy shenanigans. Just simple necessities.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I love having a ton of buttons. The closer my interior looks to a fighter jet cockpit, the happier I am. I really like Teslas in a lot of ways, for example, but I cannot stand the emptiness of the Model 3 interior.

I bought the supersonic red Limited a week ago. About 300 miles of mixed city and Highway driving. Loving the car and features. My only complaint is the head ducking needed to get into the seat. I had to change style of getting in: butt first, duck head and swing in legs. It gets some attention on the street.

Nice candid review. Very informative. However, I would like to see a review that includes comfort riding in the back. I sat in the back of a 2023 Prius yesterday and almost felt trapped in the back. Backseat headroom is an issue for anyone over 6' and while the legroom is fine in back, your feet are almost wedged in under the front seats.

@user-3tf67bk46u
@user-3tf67bk46u Год назад
Good review style. To the point. Would at least 5 to 7 min added to cover some more details that a few here have mentioned. The wheel covers are only to exploit fuel economy. Hard to believe how bad they look. Personally I'd prefer aluminum coloured rims. I would go so far as to say I really really HATE black or dark charcoal. They just look dirty all the time. Dark rims started around 6 years or so ago and I can't wait for that fad to run its course. They sort of suit a certain style big block V8 Dodge muscle car, but the very last place they should be is on a Prius or Corolla. It makes the car look like everybody is still running around with winter rims on year round. Ugly!

I really like your review, you have things in here that are not anywhere else. Just a little tidbits that come from carefully considering the features on the car. I am definitely considering getting the new Prius. I think I will go for the front wheel drive Limited it seems like the best way to get one is to buy one use with 4 to 6000 miles on it then you don’t have the long wait. I don’t know I would have to compare how much it would cost to buy it new compared to that way. I have not actually driven on one yet. I am wondering how easy it will be to get in for someone that is 6 foot tall and a large frame. My current drive is a Pontiac vibe which has been very reliable and a great car that has a Toyota engine. Thanks for the review

6k mark up, simply walk away. I live in Arizona MSRP for the Prius Le model $29,600 + 1k destination charge. * When Toyota announced the new model for 2023, they stated the Prius LE price would be $27,600. Have yet to find that price... * I currently drive my 2005 Prius w 165,000 miles no issues, may wait to purchase the 2023 model.

So is that one the gas and electric, this is one of the best looking prius I actually like! I think the next gens should have a little button to push the tachometer and prop it up just enough to either bring it forward to see it underneath the steering wheel or push it back to put it above the steering wheel for taller people! That would be the way to go! Well Done Toyota! The side tray buy the console is for holding/charging your phone! :)
@Skylancer727
@Skylancer727 Год назад
It's only a wireless charger on the higher end models. For the LE the "#sidetray" is just a reminder you don't have the fancy model. And it's just a normal hybrid. There is a Prius Prime which is a plug in hybrid, but from what Toyota said to investors, they don't tend to make many of those. In theory if you only drive short distances a Prius Prime would allow nearly full EV driving. Downside is the plug in will get worse fuel economy if you do use gas. Still even if you can find the Prime, it's hard recommendation. I mean you will now need a place to charge it and it will take a long time to make up the extra cost. Honestly unless your state has an incentive for buying a plug in, it's not a great deal. It is $5K more so you'd have to drive over 80K miles on electric only to make up the price. It's a pretty poor deal. And if you really wanted the electric savings, you can get a Model 3 for only slightly more. The Prius Prime is $32,250, a Model 3 right now is about $36,500 after the tax credit. Downside to that is gas at least will give you the fast stop and fill up and longer range, but it is a close option.

@mrxman581

I sat in a 2023 Prius and the headroom in the front seats is still pretty good for anyone under 6'-2". However, the rear seat headroom is a problem for someone 6'-2" and taller. But the rear seats feel roomier overall than the old Prius. It's just the headroom that is less.
