I really like this lady. She's the best! I like her style of going over the vehicle. So delightful, lively, and explains the taste of the vehicle so well!
This is the best looking Prius, yet! (Finally 🤓) So glad to see another video from you. You always brighten my day and lift my soul, especially during these dark times. I appreciate your skill, intellect, class and spirit. Thank you 🙏 Blessings and success to you.
Maggie, really enjoy your review with the new Prius. Great job and well done! 👏👏You have pointed out all the Easter eggs which other reviewer never mentioned. I wish it will come with the rear AC vent but other than that the Prius is second to none.
OMG, your makeup is flawless! Please tell me what foundation you are wearing, because it looks like skin! I love it! I love Prius as well and I have one but it’s already time for an upgrade and I’m still deciding if I will get this generation or the Corolla Cross hybrid, because the low ground clearance have been bothering me lately. I love the video and I just subscribed! You look stunning!
@@robbiesheppard3280 True, but the next level for Maggie would be 4K, then 8K and theeennn 12K. Next level is just that, 1 step up, not the TOP level. :)
Wow. Thanks a LOT, MAGGIE. I was having such a HARD time deciding between this beast of a car and the RAV4 prime!!!! Holy COW. Now you show me the cool Easter eggs that makes the car THAT MUCH COOLER. Stop making it HARDER to decide Maggie! 😂😂😂
Simple efficient car. The previous video says it has an electric battery charged as the breaks are pressed and there’s a solar panel on the roof as well. The 0-60 is good and I assume it’s a light car so the fuel consumption should be okay. Overall, I like it as advertised but I don’t know about its maintenance.
Best version yet. WIll probably get one. Why do people keep talking bigger engines, more HP and lower 0-60 times? Its complete nonsense, especially on hybrids, minivans and whatnot. I'd rather see a 1.6l or smaller 3 cyl turbo with both better economy and torque - could use a detuned version of the GR Corolla/Yaris motor in it.
The backseat headroom seems inadequate for taller passengers, and Toyota should honestly think about it before getting it into the market. Also, I wonder how the automobile industry is going to cope with the chip shortage issue. Currently, vehicles are being sold way above the sticker price which always used to be 2-4k less than the sticker prices.
I think this newly designed Prius will motivate many Prius-haters to consider buying one. Certainly with $5 per gallon gas, many Prius-haters from the past will be considering this vehicle. Hopefully it won't be a vehicle just for the tree lovers out there, but the people with a logical mind and an eye towards economics will consider it as a reasonable vehicle to own. It would be nice if there was more info on the Prius Prime and a little more info on the engineering/tech specs - though that kind of info may not be as important for your audience. A nice review overall.
Edit: Nevermind, I just called my local dealer to preorder and they said $39k for xle awd ($7K mark up added to msrp). I don’t need a new car right now but I really want this new Prius.
Not CVT. Nobody understands hybrids don’t have actual transmissions. They only use that term for marketing since consumers can’t understand a planetary gearset. Also, the fourth generation used a lithium battery on several trim levels except the L (I think) and the eAWD models because NiMH does better in cold weather.
@@MotorCityMaggie so I guess the Honda was not massed produced, because it was niche lightweight manual hybrid coupe ? But in America it definitely came out before the Prius. And sold a few thousands. But I get the formula now. ....Mass produced..... is the key world. I guess we must give the Nissan Leaf the title for first mass produced global electric vehicle then, even though si.r niche electric vehicles, had already been on the market, if we use that standard. All good. 🧐♥️😊👍
