It worries me just how universally useless the officials are when it comes to dealing with fires. No way should a driver have time to get out, get their own extinguisher, and put the fire out themselves.
@@seanalexander367so what do you have in your brain if you stand next to a fire and do f**in nothing although you have got a special Training for those moments???
I was just thinking the same. Literally said: "Geez, till the track crew has a fire extinguisher ready the tractor is completely burned down." and then the driver pulled out his own fire extinguisher and i was like: "Heh, if you want something to be done right..."
It does look funny but i suppose that with it already turned when the front comes down it will grab and turn the vehicle the way they want it. I could be wrong.
I agree cause if you are straight when you go up you will be straight when you come back down....... unless you turn the steering wheel when you are in the air 😂
As others have mentioned its for when the front end does come down even if its only for a moment. it will result in some turning which is better than having to use the brakes to turn and lose momentum. Every little bit helps.
These events only need to have the TRAINED emergency personnel on the track when these vehicles blow up not a bunch of want to be fireman. I’ve been to 3 tractor pull events where the untrained idiots got burned and ended up being the one rushed to the hospital. Get it together event organizers make sure to put money in the pot for a few TRAINED emergency personnel.
Say hello to loose wheel, where are you been Lucille Rolling down the track you loose wheel lol thanks buddy, thanks BigAl California.praise Jesus Christ grace amen 🙏
Everyone is trying to steer using the wheel while their front tires are 4 feet off the ground. And it ruins everything when they come back down... You got to either use differential breaks for the rears or just pray it stays straight.
if you're a genius, you'd know a regular dry-chem extinguisher isn't the best when dealing with automotive fires, either oil, fuel, or methonal or otherwise, with an extinguisher you also run the risk of just spraying the flaming shit all over the place. Sometimes a dry chem can work. Also, those big silver canisters that are sometimes seen dragged over to a wrecked rig that might catch fire IS THE EXTINGUISHER. It takes a genius to use more than his eyeballs, huh? Helps to use the stuff behind them (your brain) too, y'know?
Somebody should get a high school class to design some front suspension that doesn't snap off. It's absolutely pathetic how poorly engineered these silly tractors are... what, so they didn't realise that they might pull a wheelie? 😮
@@TheBandit7613- the axles just snap off. Seems they can design a drivetrain that can handle 10,000 HP, but they can't design a pair of stub axles that can support a couple of thousand pounds. 🤣 I don't really understand why they use the tiny wheels in the first place.... I can't find any rule that requires them. Irrespective, they just don't seem to know how to engineer that aspect properly.
Hey Lightning McQueen, those round things, their call tires and they go under the car. Also, it worries me how many “professional” drivers don’t know how to shut their engine off when they flip, hit the wall, grenade, or otherwise catch fire. Hell I laugh when they try giving it a few more revs after it grenades. Like where the hell do you think you’re going?
It’s not just the lack of safety equipment on hand at these events… it’s the udder stupidity of the spectators that are sitting on those sidelines and when one of the trucks or tractors get plowed sideways and are coming straight towards them they don’t even attempt to think of getting ready to get out of the way.
A lot of these clips you can tell the have way way way to much air pressure in their tires tires should flex and grab instead of bounce getting off the line
Everyone commenting on the officals and reactions to fire. 1 realize in most cases these are people volunteering their time not professionals. In some cases these people may only do a couple pulls a year. Also they dont see that many fires. Yes they happen but many pulls have zero fires. So yes being volunteers when a fire happens they are sometimes caught a little off gaurd. Overall for most part they do fine. Im yet to hear of anyones vehicle burning to the ground
@TheBandit7613 I think you're missing my point its not really as bad as these videos make it seem. Yes mistakes are sometimes made. But overall they do a pretty good job
The guy puts a tractor on its side at like 10mph and even though it’s not even resting on the ground some hysterical woman runs out like he has hit a wall doing 200 Earnhardt style. 🙄🙄
I saw that! I’m like, “Lady, he’s still in the seat and protected by the roll bar!” I guess she thought he got thrown out and was pinned under the tractor…
One thing i NEVER GOT IS the indoor pulls Theirs so much compression its no wonder the turbo blows an the engine says enough as well ..at 60.000 a motor id be like ..NOPE FOLKS POINTS AINT THAT PRECIOUS..just saying
