This is a small video review from the owner of the virus gt along with some pros and cons of the car. #vw #virtus #skoda #slavia #volkswagen #taigun #kushaq #virtusgt
Just realised I had never seen this varient up untill now, pretty cool. Feels more analog and dated but still a VW. I'm awaing for my GT EVO to be delivered soon in Black.
@@averageindianconsumer I have booked this same GT variant. You mentioned that GT is non EVO engine where as GT Plus is EVO engine. What is the significance of EVO engine ? I see both are both are 1.5 EVO with ACT in internet... is there any difference wrt to engine or gear box in GT and GT plus ? Appreciate your answer
@@averageindianconsumer bro i am planning to buy virtus gt soo can u tell me the mileage of the car, if driven for mileage only and i live in surat and there''s mild traffic on weekdays and moderate to sometimes high traffic soo how much mileage the carr will give me in the city in moderate traffic. plzz reply
Your 3:21 issue is real. I am struggling with this in Vento TSI HL Plus AT 2021. Issue is while using one-touch-up. It’s a safety concern VW doesn’t understand or “does not want to understand. This has been raised directly with VW. Already too much going on with other issues. As per them, the issue is with the way it/button is being operated. Do take up with them. They will have all the stories to tell you.. At times, when you wish to keep the access restricted, it ends up going down, giving all the access to outside world… Stay Safe, operate very cautiously, at nights and isolated places. Better to move the vehicle ahead and then roll the glass up ! This is 95% localization ! We didn’t have these multiple quality issues in previous VW
Thanks for sharing this, brilliant information and very detail oriented. Few questions. 1. What’s the exact onroad price of the vehicle you got ? 2. I currently own City 2018 SV ivtec manual, I do you compare the interior quality of both 3. At speed 100 and 120 what’s the rpm ? 4. How’s the LED light performance, I read GT has LED (non projector)
With BH number it came out to be 18.5 lac in total 2. Interior quality was better in my honda city, never the less VW offer great quality as well Yes, they are no projector but works well, haven't faced much off an issue, might upgrade the fog lamp though
@@soumya7695 i checked with VW and it is possible but at 40k which is not really worth it, can rather go for after market for cheaper and better quality
Hi, Great review! There is a GPS dongle installed in the OBD port. Has it ever fallen in your car when you go over speed breakers? Mine keeps fallng even after applying 3M tapes. Is there a fix?
I think one of the biggest cons of VAG cars is that they should have been the ones pioneering 6 airbags for all variants at least after the 2.0 India launch. Instead we have Hyundai taking the lead and others also making this a standard fitment. If VAG cares about safety as much as they talk about it, they should go ahead and implement it fully. Yes the cars have scored 5 stars, but having passive protection makes the package complete.
Absolutely. And with such a powerful motor. It should have been a mandate. Hope they fix this for their upcoming vehicles post the mandate of 6 airbags in all the vehicles being implemented soon, not sure of the timeline.
Nitin gadkari made it mandatory in 2022 end.. and cars take atleast 2 years for refresh.. so those lauching new variants after that got updated ... creta with 3 stars and 2 airbags sells most in mid SUV.. and only now getting an update.. and no update on venue facelift till now.. and for hyundai creta and venue is 40% of sales.. and mahindra also makes safer cars but XUV 700 and scopio n still on 2 airbags for same reason.. a facelift is for 2025 for VW twins..
I'm a little skeptical about the reliability of dsg gearbox. Have heard a lot of bad reviews about it. How is it going for you right now? How much have you driven this and have you faced any issues so far?
It has its fair share of reputation, but if taken well care of, this motor paired with this gearbox is a gem on indian roads, puts a smile every time. Just make sure to get it services every 10-12 km as opposed to companies claimed 15k, also that extended warranty is a peace of mind
This is the first time im seeing a Virtus GT in this trim i always thought GT was like a spec bump to the top model only. How much did this trim cost you on road price ?
They released this layer but haven’t marketed it well. Even when you are at a dealership they mostly wont talk about it unless you really put a constrain about your requirements. This is the 1.5 tsi dsg varient based on highline varient.
Hay bro i am planning to go for virtus gt plus manual (topline gt) But little confused now between your highline gt dsg or topline gt manual Can you please guide me
I was confused between the same. Fun to drive and most reliable- Manual GT Traffic + Highway (50/50) Auto GT City Driving- 1 Litre Traffic + Highway (20/80) GT manual The GT based on highline varient is value for money. Rest it all depends on what is your driving routine like.
Just want to know … why not Slavia ? 2. Windows motor is still noisy or solved 3. break calipers look oily even after cleaning frequently 4.If you have drive Slavia , have you feel slightly softer steering? 4
1. Slavia is a great car and the gearbox is tuned slightly better, but VW with its aggressive looks, 10 inch touch screen. I went ahead with this. Slavia has a slightly softer suspension setup, the steering wheel almost felt the same. Once again both are great cars, it comes down to personal preference on looks and interior mostly. Window motor is not great in either of the cars. I haven't noticed the oily brake caliper. Definitely a lot of break dust but not oily.
Since the car was registered under BH series I got it at 17.2 lakh, normally it would have costed me around 18.7 lakh with DL registration including discounts

This manual is available only on the gt plus varient. If you’re looking for manual with 1.5 tsi, you can check slavia. It comes with a manual transmission in the mid varient (ambition)
Wrote it bymistake, both are same except the one is based on highline and the other is based on Topline, everything with respect to engine and gearbox is same on 1.5 L@@ArunkumarUvaraj
