Great review, think you’ve summed it up pretty well. I’ve lived with both bakkies (Aventura & Ranger V6) since May 23. Cars are similar, but don’t drive or feel the same on the move. Aventura is the favourite at home, but I prefer the Ranger as a bakkie, it’s more usable(for me) as a bakkie. Aventura is top notch, 6 out of 5 type of bakkie and the only thing that puts me off on it is functionality while driving, climate control, turning off stop/start is a mission, you have to open a menu to select a driving mode, every single time I get into the car. And I don’t live with the car, so I forget where to find these things at times. Well done on the fuel consumption as well, I’ve never since anything below 12 l/100. The lowest I’ve got on the Ranger is 10.9 l/100, full tank on both gives around mid 600ks…🤦🏾♂️ Love your channel, keep it moving…🙌🏾

I agree with you Reba this bakkie looks miles prettier than any other bakkie out there,even though it's sharing with a ford ranger it looks way different also inside it does differ a bit from the Ranger.

I drove the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon the whole of last week and OMG!!! the only problem was the Feul consumption, that 3.6L V6 engine has no mercy and it keeps on saying "Go harder on the throttle" with that amazing exhaust sound lol. the price is something else that is a big big problem! But none the less, i totally agree with you, the Amarok Aventura is awesome!

I am too aggressive and I am glad that you mentioned that the Next Gen Ranger looks aggressive and I would prefer Ranger. I want that grrrrr when you pull up.

Reba, have you by any chance spoken to VW about the Amarok lineup (i.e. consumer targeted)? I personally see the Amarok style as being the lifestyle vehicle, with the leather interior, V6 engine, styling etc. However from this video I gather that the Aventura and Panamericana are actually the lifestyle vehicle. Am I missing something, is the pricing that's throwing me off, or is there value for the customer from the top of the range models if we ignore the Amarok style? Also congrats on the award 🎊
I prefer both the wildtrak V6 and the Aventura. Both with vise versa colouring with Aventura getting orange colour and my wildtrak with that blue from the Amarok
Hey Reba. Could you comment on the softness of the suspension, and whether this is shared with Ford or not? Also, you may need to reduce the training you do because 10litres per 100km just means you have a heavy foot my dear 🙈. Anyway, please request an Isuzu D-Max Special Edition to compare to this because I am told it is loaded with technology above Ford and VW, and at a similar price point. Thank you as always ❤
Thank you Rbs you said what i wanted to hear. This slay queen is not for me, however i would lile to hear your thoughtd on the Everest Platinum one of these days. God and my ancestors are aligning the horizon so im thinking. I had a Hilux and the canopy gathered a lot of dust. Most iretatingly, ppl think you are their hardware material courier on speed dial😖 hence i’m keep on a Everest. I also believe boma X5 is for wasteful lifestyle cause i have aspirations to showoff when i offroad..so plug me pls Rbs🙏🏽
The way this bakkies are so beautiful the new ranger and the amarok kor I'm even asking my self how the next generation will be like bec it's gonna get worse in the future I can see we will be having electrical bakkies
Honestly, I'm a Ford fan...die hard Ranger Wildtrak fan but i think seeing the AUS version with Matrix LEDs and the Saber Orange color made me fall in love with the Aussie version. Cyber Orange looks nice but not as premium/metallic as the Asian/Ausie versions. I told myself i'd wait for the WIldtrak X. But it's a bummer that the Rack system is optional as well as the roll shutter. And it doesnt come with the 10inch instrumental cluster. Imagine paying 100k extra for features you get in the normal WILDTRAK in a limited edition car then still forced to get Standard Wildtrak X features as Optional. Ai nooh maan. Mo Africa rea jewa maan. SO i'd rather spend my money on this Aventura V6. My only issue is the cupholder position. Lack of analog dials, for air conditioning and that laggy infotainment. But they aren't deal breakers for me. You get all these nice features as standard on the Aventura. So yeah. Aventura for me.
