"Reputation for reliability" . Honda, Toyota have reputation for reliability and will last for 250.000 KM with no problems but VW uses the worst engines 👎👎and come on this car costs 25 K €

I rly like, not gonna lie. The interior is awesome, especially the virtual cockpit. I had myself an Ibiza FR, leather steering wheel and virtual cockpit were things I was missing the most. But the price of the new Polo...just a way too much. Being it 100 000 czech korunas ( or 20 000 PLN ) less, that would be sufficient.
I have the same problem from day 0. the dealer told me that it is a wear problem and that it is not under warranty, so I have to pay 60 euros for the replacement windshield wiper. Yay 🤡
I don’t know why but I prefer this car to the other vw group cars like the Ibiza and the Fabia. If vw added some mood lighting to the dashboard then this cars interior would make it more upmarket or classy.
Looks like quite a nice ride! I am wondering, how does the 1.0 TSI do compared to the older 1.2 TSI when it comes to turbo lag? And, how does it feel before boost starts to build?
I’ve had both 1.0tsi 95 in a 2021 seat ibiza and 1.2 tsi 90 in a 2015 Vw polo, and even though the 1.0tsi feels more punchy, free reving, and powerful, the 1.2 is way more smoother and stronger
Joe I have a question for you since I have this generation of Polo. Does the lane assist also steer you towards the barriers on highway corners? For example when the highway turns left at about 10 degrees and it just randomly turns to the right. Mine does this and it is very dangerous. Mine also brakes on the highway thinking there's a corner while nothing is there... VW says it's just the way the car is but there are clearly issues with this!

It's during the Travel Assist, when the car thinks you're in town or took a particular exit based on the maps, then it changes cruise control speed based on the limit it thinks you're in. I have this every day because there's road construction on one highway and the car picks up temporary speed limit for a parallel carriageway. That's indeed an issue, but you can override it with RES button on the steering wheel. Sometimes the car sees 80 sign on a lorry and thinks it's a legit speed limit. Again, override with RES button, or give it a bit of gas, since it also overrides ACC setting. With Lane Assist, the car will drift within the lane if you just let it go without control. You gotta hold it at the line, it will then keep it stable at the line. When it asks to "take over steering", all you need to do is to touch the thumb groove at either 9 or 3 position, it will make the notification go away. I'm not saying "this is normal" but I am saying there are workarounds. And yes - keep the car's software updated, because a lot of these problems are actually just navigation-related. If your highway goes 130km/h but the nav thinks road works are still ongoing and you have to go 50km/h in one lane, you will have to maually drive all the time on that piece of road. If you don't have maps for a country, it actually gets easier because it then reacts to only what it sees.
Экологические нормы это ужасно.. Автопроизводители делают малюсенькие одноразовые моторы, которые спустя 2 года можно выкладывать. Раньше было намного лучше, чего уж, таких моторов как JZ уже никогда не будет ;(
