i actually like the paint job more on the new Kneesa, i think the white on the bottom half of her face and even the almost eye shadow looking paint make her look really cute to seperate her a bit from all the male Ewoks. but yeah not enough to buy her, .y old one is fine and i also really dislike that stripe on the hood.
It's just frustrating that they do these figures and the recent Thrawn release on the Rebels cardback, and they're nothing like the versions we known from the cartoons aside from colour scheme. They may as well just have a line called "What If This Animated Character Had Been In Live Action."
Did you see someone on Rebelscum forums posted pictures, they got all there Kneesa's with the bubble pressed on the card upside down? Also talking about Wicket looking cute, did you see the $500 plush wicket on disney shop? (spoiler warning it's not cute).
Aww man…too bad about the Kneesaas! Some people like errors like that so maybe they can find someone to take it off their hands. I made the mistake of looking up that Wicket plush thing cuz you mentioned it- now I can’t sleep at night! Those soulless eyes!
The new Kneesaa and Wicket each come with satchels. The old Kneesaa (from the 2012 Toys R Us Movie Heroes 5 pack) does not come with one, but both the 2010 and 2020 Vintage Collection Wicket figures do come with a satchel.
I would say they are nice figures but are not Ewok Cartoon Series figures. They are TVC figures. Since Kneesaa only appears in the Ewok Cartoon series they had to choose this cardback. So this is not about the Cartoon, it's more like an hommage to the Cartoon. Just like TVC uses Vintage Kenner cardbacks. Clever clever Hasbro I would buy them to enhance my Ewok Collection, especially for Kneesaa. Thank you to NSC for the review
Yeah I should have mentioned the Droids figures (Boba Fett, R2 & C-3PO) that Hasbro made last year- they’re in the same category of not really being cartoon figures or Vintage Collection figures either. I like these figures, but if they had made a Kneesaa figure in the style of the vintage Kenner Ewoks cartoon figures- that’d been crazy popular!
