Greetings everyone, the end of 2023 draws close and I like to reflect back to what I have accomplished this year.
I am very humbled and grateful to all of you for supporting this channel. We have grown so much this year! Your kind words and encouragement give me drive to keep sharing my passion with you all. Thank you to all who drop me a note in the comment section, I do enjoy talking with you!

Hi Brett, A nice round up of your builds. for 2024 I'd like to complete 3 aircraft , finish the Eduard spitfire 1a. Build,paint,weather, Tamiya 1/48 F4U 1D & Academy SBD5, with the last 2 in RNZAF markings(obviously) and finally to get to grips with using acrylics for figures, what's the saying about old dogs & new tricks?. Looking forward to more of your posts.😄 👍

As always, great work. I really need to up my game and get some projects finished. I have some great kits sitting on the shelf waiting to be built. Maybe I can pull together something worthy of sharing in the viewer video? There will definitely be some Hammerhead technique introduced into my current and future builds. Thanks for sharing. Great video Brett, that's an impressive number of builds for the year. Like you I really enjoy building the 1/72 Airfix P-51D's, but unfortunately it seems that Hobby Lobby has completely dropped the Airfix line of kits. Maybe it's just the Hobby Lobby's in Las Vegas, but none of them here carry the 1/72 Airfix kits anymore.

Very nice builds. I watched a few of those. Personally I'm not a big fan of 1:72 scale. I really liked the Tracker build, and the dirty H-53 (didn't see the lit up one). I finished an AM TBM-1C this year; I still have one more in the stash. I've also recently started building cars and have a few of those in progress. Congrats on the record breaking stats. Looking forward to 2024. Peace and love.

Much appreciated. Yeah, I didn't use to like 1/72, I was a 1/48 only kind of guy, but I've come to realize that 1/72 takes up far less space in the display case! Anyways, take care!

Hello -- love your videos. Your craftsmanship is amazing. About your resin 172, I am thinking of building resin kits but am weary of the "challenges." I could not find your 172 build in your library. Lol, fortunately both CH-53s were commission builds and the clients supplied the kit, but I sure would like to build one for myself now if they weren't so expensive to find.

What a production rate... Amazing average quality throughout the builds. On a side note, like tons of modellers for years, you spend a lot of time on details accuracy but fail to make realistic dioramas like the A-26K: no heavy engine job will be untertaken with the aircraft full load of ammo on stations. Let's call it artistic license 😜

Oh, its definitely artistic license, and done by choice. I enjoy adding detail where its lacking, not necessarily because it makes it more accurate, but simply because I like the detail, and when I plan out a diorama, I generally prioritize a certainly look or feel over strict adherence to what would be considered real. It's similar with my F-105 diorama, there is a lot going on in that one that probably wouldn't all be happening at the same time, but I like the story it conveys. @@HammerheadModelMakingAt last you painted all the ground equipment in Yellow which was the right colour until the late 70s 😉 About 1/72 and 1/48 scale figures: yes they are hard to find because the market is very thin. The largest choice of amazing quality is the French company Reedoak (Google it) Downside: like any 3D product they cost a lot. But sometime one single true-to-life figure could enhance your model compared to old ESCI or Hasegawa plastic ones
