in their defense, their guitarist is their instrumentalist. he plays all the instruments for the studio version, but unfortunately he can't play every instrument live at once.
As a musician, it can be very difficult to find multiple musicians with the same work schedule, transportation, equipment, finances, availability, and so much more. Sometimes after multiple attempts at finding the right line up, it can be very frustrating, and be a dead end. maybe this was the only way that they could possibly make this group happen. The more members the more factors. Less members, less factors.
