This is a long one even compared to the prior year's video. Basically I went through every single banner NA is going to get over the next year. I talk about why each is worthy of your consideration and some things I think people may be overlooking. As such feel free to binge it all or watch only the parts relevant to you. This is a multi-part series, so it might take time to release the others.

Niches are great because them it is lateral scaling rather than vertical scaling. Characters do not necessarily get invalidated by being objectively outclassed. Ereshkigal retains some merit in her support functions, regardless of Melusine's looping advantage over her. While rare, instant death immunity and np gen up are a hell of a thing when instant death is a real concern.

Advanced and challenge quest needs are not to be overlooked for niches characters.

There's always the absolute fact that not everyone has a Melusine, and that there is generally enough leeway to use units with lower dps but still actually succeed in content.

@@ChrrolloDI I seriously doubt I could have beaten that King Hassan challenge quest without my np2 Ereshkigal. BB tanked the first half, Ereshkigal with Merlin once he finally killed BB. While I have np5 Melusine for farming, there is absolutely challenge content that she is ill-suited for.

Thank you so much for tackling Banner Review 2024.🥳 All the kudos to you and your team! As for right now, I want to roll for : Don Quixote (born and raised with his story since I was a child) Summer Skadi (I love my Quick units and I want them to shine!) While 2024 is pretty tame regarding servants I want to roll for, I think 2025 is going to be painful because there are so many Servants I want! 😭

I think my plans are mostly set for the year. Itinerary right now looks like : Bazett - Charlemagne - Arcueid - Void Shiki (NP3) - Summer Skadi - Britomart. still mulling over if I should take a shot at a second copy of Castoria at some point, and maaybe try to grab Dantes (not right now, but possibly at the end of the year). We'll see how my luck holds up. All in all, it's a pretty relaxing year, summon-wise. No big meta shift just means I can just go after Servants I like without fear of crippling my account in the process.

Nightingale actually makes a good disposable support. Stick a target focus CE on her and rotate someone else useful in when the enemy removes her. She had good use on the Gray/Reines CQ for case files.

Reines's NP is kinda ridiculous in challenge quests after the buff, the amount of defense she provides is great, and she has a 2.56% arts card with an NP that gives the same amount of party wide NP gain as Castoria's S2, she gets to her NP really easily and then because of the NP gain on NP she's really good at keeping it up. Reines with a Berserker is one of the strongest easy setups for CQs, her use in hard content is a lot better than farming. Although you can always just borrow one, of course, because you don't really need 2 in a team

6:00 Another point against Reines is Jinako (Ganesha) becomes a ST focused 50% support charger with her buff, later this year. And she can spook you or you can choose her as your starting 5★, unlike Reines.

Her buff gives nothing in the way of charge? And even if it did Jinako would still be worse, they're not on the same level at all.

@@ricksanchez6766 Point, she isn't good for buster. What she does is give NP gain up and NP damage. The damage will be greater due to multiplicative scaling and her NP gain up is tied to a skill, not her NP. Her first skill includes a charisma BTW as does her NP a def down.

She could spook you but the odds of a specific 5 star spooking you is tiny.

Never rely on getting spooked by a gen pool SSR. If you get spooked it can truly be anyone, me personally I've gotten a pair of Karna and Drake off spooks, however, Jack is missing, Osakabehime is missing, and many others have never spooked I've just rolled them on rateup banners like Ozy and Vlad.

No lawful and chaotic enemy exists in FGO last I looked for Ivan's skill upgrade, but that's fine his NP damage if you hit niche is fantastic with the buff stacking twice for wave 3 enemies and NP interlude. Lawful and chaotic are opposites though since law and order is the opposite of chaos. He is still the best buster rider as of this writing for 50% gauge CE's even with no niche damage and with 90++ being a thing later on that niche damage can make or break a wave. Still fantastic at challenge content too with the buff strip and other niche stuff in kit like NP gain rate can give him some really good refund with arts crits.

yeah when it comes to Alignments you are usually one or the other only exception iirc is Arjuna Alter who is both Good and Evil aligned at the same time

Maybe coz they go into the the general story summons, which means you will probably never get it from there coz there is so much servants on there.

@@totallynotmodsan7627 I was looking around the other day and noticed bazzet is also in the shop for 10 items; the item you can get upon receiving a 5-star servant for the 6th time I believe
