The Bear Persist is the flagship hunting bow from Bear Archery for 2024. Powered by the Eko cam, the Persist is packed with features aimed at bowhunters, including a built-in, tree-stand haul loop and sling mounts. With a Picatinny rail for a sight mount and a dovetail for an integrate rest, the Persist allows for a variety of accessories to be mounted the way each hunter wants.

I have an RX7 Ultra and previously a V3X33. This is by far the best looking and featured bow of all the new releases so far. People always favor or hate on bows due to the name and a biased nature. If you took away all brand names/logos and just looked at what the bows offer, this bow looks the best so far. Phenomenal job Bear!

Im shooting a whitetail legend. Its not as quiet as the hoyts or mathews. How does the execute compare to them?

@@jasonnester9514 it means they are as good as anything on the market…it seems people hear the name Bear and write them off as “cheap” I walked into my archery shop with all intentions of buying a Mathew’s phase 4. I shot the Mathew’s then he Bear Execute and bought the Bear.

@@MJBjj870I’ve shot all the 2023 bows and bear was as quiet and shock free as any of them the only thing I didn’t care much for was the draw cycle it just felt stiff to me

I dont sit in a tree diaper but the loop for that seems cool, the sling qd mounts and the integrated wrist sling are good ideas as well.

I like the look of that. Have a question on the speed nocks on that Persist. My Execute 32 has the smaller heat shrink over nocks. My Paradox has the larger speed nocks like the Persist you have. Just odd the flagship has the clunky speed nocks like the midline bows do.

Can you buy these in riser dampeners separately? I always wondered what these hole and triangular cutouts on my bear legend xr are for. Are they there for locating the riser when machining or are they gorgeous something like these dampeners?

The integrated wrist sling mounting hole isn't new. I discovered the hole below the grip of my 2010 Bowtech Destroyer 350 and purposed it for my wrist sling.

Most bows have a hole there but bear are the first to use a grub screw

@@Toiletstainz whoopdeedoo. Still nothing new. I could tap a grub screw hole in my riser and thread it for a grub screw, too, if I wanted, but I don't have to. I tied both ends of the wrist sling together and slipped it into the hole so it's not seen.

I feel like bear was on the right track back around 2016 when their flagship bows had draw adjustments out to 32 inches and ata around 33 34 inches but since then have lost their way and are too focused on 30 in and less draw lengths and really short ata.

That could be that a very small percentage of the archery community needs anything longer then 30. It would be a horrible business decision to cater to that population.

Making it go to 32 when most need 27-30’ it would loose a lot of efficiency

I’m a Mathews guy and this bow looks pretty good. November is when a lot of manufacturers kick out releases. From now to January is pretty good if you’re a bow nerd.

Would be nice if you could online order any Bear bow for home delivery. The Alaskan and Legend XR are pro shop only, yet the more upscale Escalate can be mail ordered. High end Athens bows can be mail ordered as can affordable but highly rated Sanlida Amazon bows. So the archery industry is moving towards online purchasing, but Bear is lagging behind with an illogical archaic system.

The rubber pad is the best thing about that bow. Sadly they should have came out with a better tunning system. The wrist slig mount is a cop out and pretty laughable

im a Mathews guy but my son shoots a bear kuma and it shoots great and is faster then all my mathews bows pound for pound. I also think this new bear bow looks great...

Go shot 1 an see for yourself. I switched from mathews to the Kuma 33 an now im carryin a refine. I absolutely love it. Do not sleep on these new Bears
