Yes my KTM 300 Erzberg seemed fairly frugal with the fuel. I believe Beta may have developed the dual plug head with the focus on leaner mixtures and better fuel economy.
I'm from Ohio as well, Dayton area. What did it take to get the bike registered and titled? I know most bikes come marked as off-road only on the certificate when bought new, is that not the case with these?
My understanding is Beta models MSO does not state for off road use only so it is possible to get a mc title in Ohio. These bikes do come with DOT approved tires, Hi/Lo beam, brake light switches, horn, and are wired for turn signals (even the switch is on the bars) so fairly easy to do.
