On this quick and easy video, I explain how to adjust your powervalve to your own style, liking, or preference. This is a super easy way to custom tune your bike to where your power kicks in where you want it to!
Bike used in video was a 2022 Beta 250RR RE; but should work with other year 125’s, 200’s, 250’s, and 300 2 strokes!
Quick Tips:
If you want smoother/linear(less jumpy) power: turn the adjuster to the left/out
If you want a harder hit/more of an mx bike(more jumpy) power: turn the adjuster to the right/in.
A good in between for me was about 1.5 turns in from the outside/flush
I hope you guys enjoyed the video; if you did please leave a like, comment, and subscribe for more BetaBro content coming soon!

I think you may have that the wrong way round. Turning the screw in (clockwise) tensions the springs more and makes the hit later in the rev range. Turning the screw out reduces the spring tension and allows the hit earlier in the rev range.

Yep! That’s what I was saying in the video. I may have explained it weird for some peoples understanding. I just explained it in the easiest terms so most people would have an idea of what turning it in and turning it out meant. The gist of it is turning it out makes the power a smoother “hit” throughout the whole powerband. Turning it in makes it have a more aggressive, “MX” bike punchy powerband hit and feel.

@@RocketRidez Yeah turning it in the bike will feel like it has a flatter delivery with a noticeable hit when the power valves open later in the rev range. Turned out flush the hit isn't as noticeable but it has more power throughout the rev range (but a little less torque low down perhaps?) I'm no expert at such adjustments and didn't quite understand the way you explained it, now we are sorted 😄

So basically counterclockwise (more linear/bottom end) and clockwise (hit / less bottom end but more top)? thanks!

Wow! Thanks. I'll go try it... in for faster hit/snap. Out for slower more linear!....👍

I have oil coming out of the mixture through the exhaust valve sleeve, is this normal?

It's pronounced "LinnEEEAAARR. Not Lin ear. Turning the power valve inward provides way less bottom end feel and the power will come on way later. Turning it out (counterclockwise) will give you lots of bottom end power right away. It's a 5MM hex head. Just to clear it up for folks.

Yea that’s basically what I had stated. I was just explaining it in a way I was told from my dealer. Thanks for the added input; ride safe! :)
