I also recommend for you and others the Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible, The Archaeological Study Bible, The Holy Land Illustrated Study Bible, The NLT Illustrated Study Bible and a nice Bible Atlas.
Voddie Baucham is epic! You will enjoy that book, I think. I haven't read it myself, but I know who Voddie Baucham is and have heard him speak. Like you, I'm asocial at times ("antisocial" might be a bit too strong). I need a social life! Meantime, I have subscribed on the basis of this video. Will be interesting to catch up with you now and then to see how you're doing with both your Bible study and perhaps life in general.
Happy New Year! 🎉🎊🥳. Accomplish all your goals and live life go out and enjoy. Oct 26, 2022 I gave birth to my daughter. My right lung collapsed and doctors didn’t know if I would make it. Jan 26, 2023 I got new lungs 🫁 and it has been a roller coaster 🎢 for my recovery ❤️🩹. Take it from my experience enjoy life: travel, read books 📚, and let others criticize. Stop worrying about what others think. You do an amazing 🤩 job B on your channel.
Happy New Year Sara! My word of the year is Grace & I've categorise My Quiet Time into low - high levels to avoid feeling overwhelmed this year... I'm also using new morning mercies devotional along with some commentaries and basically simplifying my quiet time as much as possible this year ...
Happy New Year!!! I love that for your word of the year! I think sometimes we are hard on ourselves to do so much when we really need to simplify things! Praying for you this year 💕
Enjoyed your video! I’m still figuring out what my resources are since I love to use too many ands get overwhelmed. Yay! I’ve also been wanting to practice my Spanish in my Bible. ❤️ TFS! 🤗
I completely understand! Sometimes it’s hard to stick to just these. Throughout the year I’ll use other things too but these will be my main resources! Thanks for watching!!
Since you have an interest in art and how it correlates to God, you may want to look into books by Francis Schaffer. That was one of the main things he focused on.
Hi Sara, Happy New Year! This year I would like to keep it simple and use study guides for Bible Study and use your 9 month ready plan. I also would like to use a journal for prayers and praises. I decided to carry over my words from 2022 and 2023 which are Practice and Diligent. But out of curiosity I used a template from Day Spring and got the word Simplify. I believe I am over complicating things mentally and therefore loosing focus and clarity. Same like you, I did not accomplish many things that I had planned for last year. I will sharing my resources soon on my channel. Tfs. God bless.
Happy New Year!! I completely understand overcomplicating things! I'm trying to simplify the things around me and all that I do and learning to say "no" to things. Excited to see what resources you'll be using this year!
Thank you for sharing and your recommendations of your study resources…What was the name of the other “The Holiest of All” book that you were going to recommend? I’m currently reading the book of Job and it had me crying, I felt bad that Job lost his family. I’ve heard the events that took place for Job, I’m still reading and i can’t help but to ask myself why 🤔, as I continue the reading will unfold but personally, I NEVER read it for myself and it had me in tears. I’m skipping over Books and would love to study Hebrews correctly… Thank you for leading me in that direction. 🙌🏽 📖 🙏🏽
Hi! It’s the same title. The version I have is an abridged version which just means the original books was edited. It’s a big book. About 600 pages but so good!! It’s a great study that helps you connect Christ in the Old and New Testament
