This has to do with schedules. And Penn States is more favorable than Michigans. We also have to factor this is year two for Allar who for all the doubt he gets, the guy had 25 TDs to 2 INTs

But doesn’t Michigan have a new HC and DC, with an unproven QB? I understand you still got Edward’s and Some defensive guys. But Michigan also lost 18 guys to the draft. I just don’t see them being a complete team this year or the 4th best in the conference I would give the edge to Penn St. because it’s the same coaching staff, I believe they had the second best overall defense in the country last year. They have a QB that knows the offense and has experience playing. I don’t see how Iowa is #5 though. They’re just defense with mediocre offense at best I just don’t see it

Love your thoughts. As a new Big10 team I am not going to split hairs between UM and PSU, I do see that Rutgers and UW are to low for me. Rutgers looks like a real sleeper team to me

U 2 know: both Ucla & MichSt could do more, but neither has OL nor DL depth. Both drew harsh schedules. UM: more talent, but 24 PSU drew a very easy schedule, compared to Michigan. Iowa: obviously protected by b1g offices w a super wimpy '24 schedule. 🙄

Ucla is the dark horse of the big 10. The disrespect is real. Ucla should be ahead of 9-15

You have to be smoking something strong if you would take Orji over Allard, Allard is proven in this conference yes he’s struggled in big games but when he’s on he’s on, where as Orji nobody knows anything besides he can run that’s it. Orji’s ceiling is Joe Milton that’s it

Penn State's schedule is EASY compared to others. They play OSU and Wisconsin. Scheduling gods were smiling on PSU this year.

You do realize this is where the media has the teams finishing year off. PSU has an easier schedule than UM

I’m actually ok with the top 9. Maybe swap USC and Wisconsin. Washington and Maryland are way too high. Purdue should be 12-13-ish. MSU and Minnesota will also be better than expected.

Iowa will be exposed for having beaten up on shitty teams to make their numbers unworldly. They have a good but not elite defense. Look at when they played elite offenses they struggled. If they were that elite they would’ve slowed them down more.
