2024 Bike reveal with small person bike tips!! 

Probably the best 'bike check' video I've watched. As you alluded to at the start, sponsored riders ride what they are given, as such so often they just don't have much to say about the bike and components other than 'yeah, it's sick!' because they can only ever be positive about everything outwardly. So much more interesting and real when it's stuff people have actually had to pay for.

Good on you, I'm fed up of the industry telling me, year on year that last year's great bikes weren't as good s they could have been and we all need next years model! It's just not true!

As a smaller rider 100% agree its hard to find a bike that works for you, awesome to see your journey and keep up the great honest vlogs 🙂

Absolutely love my Nukeproof! Currently riding their Reactor which is such a fun bike that I can ride all day and still hit stuff like BPW and have a blast on.

Yes! I would so love to see more pros riding their own choices of bikes and parts, not just the newest stuff that sponsors are putting out. Newer isn't always better, and if it works for you, who cares what model year it is? Good for you, and here's wishing you a fun and successful year!

Super bikes. Hopefully you and other riders with some profile can help (inadvertently) keep the brilliant Nukeproof brand alive. Would be such a shame if it was left to die out.

Cool vidéo Ms Winston ! I'm quite a short rider too and I was wondering why you would keep a Zeb Fork. For me a Lyrik would be enough meat and lighter... But maybe that's just me not shredding as hard as you do😅! Cheers and good luck for this new season !

Great choice! I've stuck with a Mega in the mullet set up for the last couple of seasons for the same reason. The frame just works. Hesistant to go full 29er as a smaller rider, but would be interested to hear a comparison to the GT's as that was the other option I was considering.

Can't complain about that, even if it's not a Starling 😉

As a short guy my setup is almost the same as yours and i love my 29er too and yes a lot of the new bikes just won't fit me either.

Love that you are going back to a bike that you know you get on well with. I am interested that you never thought about looking at trying another brand that you might never have ridden. I would be interested to hear who you had a look at before you plucked for Nukeproof. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the whole SRAM v Shimano drivetrain. I know that you had been riding on Shimano when you were with GT but I am guessing the Nukeproof is running SRAM fully. Have you got a plan for what you might be riding on your Mega? Will be seeing you doing a bit of Scottish Enduro series or even in Tweedlove? Oh came across an old video that you did with Shimano really thought that it was a brilliant film that you did about your dyslexia and how is has shaped you. I think a film to really highlight! Brilliant to see the bike and look forward to what you get up to in 24!

Good video, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed the way sizing is going, these days medium are to long for me and small bikes are to small? So I'm stuck on my 2016 Kona hei hei but I did like the GT sensor you used on the HT550? geometry looks good do you think it is suitable for a main bike packing FS bike??

Nice one Katie! I am curious why you would prefer to run a shorter tt/reach and a 50mm stem vs the longer tt/reach with the 35mm stem (on the Nukeproof). What do you find to be the difference in ride quality between the two set ups? Any insights here would be appreciated.
