F.y.i. this is 4 yr dad. That horse he likes has a great story that alot of people dont know since horse was a baby. I will be rooting 4 him even though hes not my top pick in either race. I think the mile is to short 4 him. But 4 yr dad trust in that trainer cause he knows his horse and more important will choose correct race. Will get pace in both. Key is trust me horse like cold or cooler weather so dad check that. And son u did great show talking about many horess and many race flows.
As long as Straight no chaser doesn’t draw the one hole, he will be tough to beat. Interesting thing about him, never raced on Del Mar dirt but he has worked works there and blazed some serious works on their dirt so I don’t see that being an issue. He’s also lightly raced due to injury, he’s primed and ready to go. Johnny V is great out of the gate and on the front end. single for me. Appreciate the content, good stuff.

I agree Society was a perfect trip winner in last. That being said she looked like a full grown lady after breaking well, kindly rating dominating race from stalking position. Ways N Means will be favored rightfully so but see value in Society.
How has either stumbled or been slow out of the gate in several starts. Last time out in the Japan Dirt Classic he stumbled pretty badly, but recovered. There is less margin for error in these big races and a poor start at the gate could put him in a tough spot depending on the post draw.
If I was you I would not be worrying about the quality of horses that cougburn has been beating but I would be paying more attention to the time that he has been doing it in, which is absolutely monstrous
