It is a beast in certain terrain. I personally just did not like it in our terrain.

@@BustedKnuckleVideo The thing is this it was redesigned from the ground up and it was made to climb rocks and other terrain like you would normally drive a car not a rock climbing side-by-side so all you have to do is just give it a little bit of gas and do not let up on the pedal and you will find yourself at the top of the hill that was your issue you continue to baby it and that's not what that vehicle is about. Driving mine I have not had a problem of going up any Hill whether it is rocks dirt mud whatever as long as you drive it in the way it was intended and also to put it in the right mode and I have never gotten stuck. I am even waiting for the snow the two of them that I purchased I have at my Utah home and I bought tracks for them so I can go in the backcountry that's what's so awesome about the Can-Am X3 turbo for the are R. This is also the reason why I told you when you try to climb that rock wall normally as you drive a car on the road you noticed that the vehicle continued to go straight up to the top but when you played with it you continue to have problems that's why you have to know how to drive that vehicle. It's kind of the same thing like driving an old Porsche 911 Turbo you can't drive it like a regular rear-wheel drive car with a front engine especially when you are going around a turn you do not break you accelerate your way around the turn otherwise you will find yourself in serious trouble so that's why you need to be able to know how to drive the vehicle you are driving. The other thing is in that era Porsche is the Porsche 911 is the only vehicle where the pedals are pushed straight up instead of push down another reason why you have to know drive the car you are driving properly

First off, this is not my machine so I will drive it within the limits of the situation. Secondly, utah has to be the easiest place to wheel on the planet aka "the land of traction". Alabama is not like that at all. I gave my thoughts and honest opinion. You don't have to try to justify your purchase with me. I wouldn't buy one but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. To each their own.

They take a beating. But it’s definitely a weird machine for the south east

It wouldnt break down. Trust us, we put ours through some hard core miles at King of the Hammers. Zero breakage other than a flat. VERY tough machine. Front arm design is amazing and a ton stronger than traditional suspension.

They are awesome in the right terrain, I just expected more of a well rounded machine in all aspects.

They fit 35’s but they are definitely made for the west coast

X3 is still top of the line for fast and light... Turbo R, Pro R suspension is top of the line in my opinion

X3 power to weight ratio is hard to beat and those little motors make big power, that being said I would like to build a boosted Pro R next.

@@BustedKnuckleVideo I was thinking about that too... they seem to like the boost. Be killer in the snow with that much power!

I still really like the Turbo S and Pro XP geometry better

No, i hope they do not EVER do that. You obveously havent driven a Maverick R. Drive one for 5 minutes and you will see why this design BLOWS away, and i mean by a mile, anything else.

How does the maverick r with smart shocks compare to a turbo r or pro r with dynamixs? From my experience, I think the rzr suspension is better over all. Do you have anything to add to this?

They are a little high considering a rock bouncer is $90k

For the sand it’s perfect, I just prefer CVT and never have belt issues. Just my personal opinion.

I usually walk right through that area in every machine that I test. I was shocked that it struggled so hard there.

@@BustedKnuckleVideo same for me walked it multiple times in one night next time was a totally different story and looks identical to how it did before crazy stuff great video though. It overheating was a fault of the dealer when assembled sucks that it messed up your runs on the track

yeah we were surprised that the dealer overlooked that but glad it was an easy fix and we got to go back and finish our review

I have done this same course in every RZR, General, etc I have ever tested. That is what I am comparing. the Maverick R is just not a trail machine/rock crawler

Engines are already broken in. You dont want them to brake. So warm them up first.

@BustedKnuckleVideo I just went back and watched it on my phone, was using a laptop. Even with the speaker on my phone it still seems a little loud. I have to lower the volume for that part and then increase the volume after to hear you talk. I'll try on another system. Maybe it's just weird on my devices.

Nope, MRT Rocky RX. They are comparable to a Nitto or Zilla but also come with a Kevlar Warranty.

The Pro R is one of the best rock crawling machines I’ve ever driven. I even put 37s on a bone stock one and it did amazing.
