Wow very very sharp car, you could pull up a chair and stare at it all day long. Love the red accents inside, what color is that called for the body. Thanks for sharing watching this multiple times better looking then most cars on the road.
Color is "sterling grey" and I fully agree with you. I was Def nervous (previous car is a maserati, engine died on me 😢) I sometimes ask myself - Am I supposed to be loving this car so much? It's a 3 cylinder. But drives smooth I can't tell. Oh ok I'm a second behind on a 0-60. I'm ok with that
@cashrulez101 thanks great color, I never was in a Maserati but sounds nice. This car has good room in it so as long as you have a warranty engine don't matter. great on gas what counts Thanks
Funny you say that because I was so nervous about the engine, I opted for the top warranty available 7/125,000 bumper to bumper 😉. Thanks for your comment. Enjoy
I'm in the market. My 2014 Subaru CrossTrek XV is at the dealer with transmission issues. I'm trying to get Subaru to cover it even though it has 125K miles due to it being a pretty common complaint with their CVT tranny. Looking at several other crossover types and the Chevy Trax is one of them.
Wait until those rubber belts two running in oil known as wet belt fail and the engine will be toast. Oil becomes acidic over time and those acids will cause the belts to deteriate and fail. For those of you thinking about buying one, please watch this video. Should you buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trax? By The car care nut. He explains it all in detail.
I’ve never needed AWD in northern Michigan for 40 years and I have a newer Silverado at home also. I wouldn’t want a RWD car, but FWD with all the weight over the drive tires handle amazing in snow and the Trax has a decent clearance of almost 8 inches.
What do you mean by underpowered engine? You have V12 down to V3. According to your statement all of these are underpowered compared to F50 Spyder. You get what you pay for. I'm happy with the power that I paid for. By the way you still racing? Them days is over for me. I like to keep my ins rates low - i.e safety features and safe driving😎
I also have the exact same model, but in Fountain Blue color! I absolutely love everything about my 2024 Trax! @cashrulez101 hit all the positive things right on the head! Happy cruising to both you and @sandrahinds4444 !
Wow it’s a very beautiful car I just recently bought the 25 trax 1rs and I’m disappointed all ready it’s basically a LS model from the inside and what I’m only getting is few technology on mines 8” infotainment system no engine start no wireless charging no digital cluster it has nice wheels though no sun roof either 😢 might as well trade it in next year and get me the one I really want
Got mine quickly for wife. Exact same 2rs and cor got it with the sun roof with the wireless charging and the think it's called drivers confidence package. We did like the 2rs more than the active, didn't care on the power seats for us. We constantly adjust as my wife is a foot shorter so it's actually faster having manual. But the 2rs she really liked the sportier interior and has plenty of power for city running
The LT model is better than the 1RS Chevy messed up the 1RS model for the 2025 I own that it’s basically The LS trim with better wheels and remote start wish I had all that technology on mines 😢
If your concerned about the 3 cylinder turbo charged engine it has plenty of power. I have a 2012 Chey Equinox four cylinder and the 2024 engine will blow it away........ The car is great...
That was my concern too. I got one for wife it's entry zippy in town and even our hilly areas. The car is light so really helps and is geared well. I haven't felt short on power so far but not street racing lol
