Last minute revision, i better pass this :( / im revising the ocr reference language since its easier to learn than python, it takes me a long time to code in python however ocr reference langauge is simple to approach
I just wanted to say thank you for the unit 1 and unit 2 videos. The revision has been super helpful, and my final Unit 2 exam is tomorrow. Keep up the good work, even if I don't watch you again! (not being horrible, promise ;) you've been awesome)
@s1perry update: I knew I was going to struggle at unit 2 but ohhh boy. It was a horrible paper. Hopefully, me being good at unit 1 will save me and also low grade boundaries lol
you have single handedly carried me from a grade 6 to a grade 9 , from my mocks to my actual GCSEs!!! I am beyond grateful for your help which led to me getting 94% overall when I was averaging around 55% in mocks!!! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
This is one of the best revision sources for OCR computer science ngl.... I used this as my revision source for my PPE exams and got grade 7 on paper 2 which is good considering I normally get a grade 5 on paper 2....
Their is an error in the resetting of elements in the array as you set it to 1 to 4 but its meant to be 0 to 4 to reset all the elements. Other than that the video was very useful thank you. Am I right in saying that or am I being dumb?
@@s1perry Compared to last year it was 100x harder, maybe ocr considered last years to easy for some reason and then made it harder, but went to the extreme?
Many thanks for your videos, they have been quite adequate. Though If I must make one query; Does the algorithim section of the paper generally contain anything outside generalisation of the different programming constructs mentioned within the video? (I've been studying the GCSE independently and there haven't been too many resources out there to clarify this) Many thanks.
Have a look at some past paper question online to see. You need to apply the general constructs to a situation given to you in the questions in Paper 2.
@@s1perry damn bro, i believe in u to get me my A*, exams soon for paper 1 on the 12th of june so please try and get it finalised and uploaded soon broooo
I don't normally comment on videos but I just wanted to say thanks - both this and your computing paper 1 revision video have been incredibly helpful =^^=
hey man thanks so much for these videos i was gonna ask whether or not this video and the updated paper 1 video are ok to use for 2024 computer science ocr gcse exams ?
@@s1perry Hey there Im watching your videos now and honestly really amazing so thankyou but do you have any advice on how to answer the coding part of the questions
@@zeesty5896 No easy answers, i'm afraid. Practise coding. If you can do some selection (if/else) and iteration(for/while) and maybe loop through a 1D array you will be able to answer most of the questions. Have a look through past papers and try the coding questions - the same skill come up again and again.
This video is absolutely brilliant, I was predicted a 7 but i think that with the help of this video i can bump up my grade as am not as good at paper 2... Thank you!
