Hi great video. When it mentions ASCII and says 128 values (0-127) were required to do this in binary. I’m not too sure what this means and what the word “this” refers to. Clarification would be splendid👍
@@shiftzy6000 thankfully i am naturally good but bios draggin me down went from 7 to 6 while i get 9 in chem.wish me luck on gcses ,i have one tomorrow
HI I JUST WANT TO SAY THANKS! YOUR VIDEOS HELPED ME THROUGH GCSE COMPUTER SCIENCE AND I GOT A 9! I'M NOW STUDYING IT AT COLLEGE TOO AND I WILL DESFINITLEY BE WATCHING YOUR A LEVEL VIDEOS!! THANK YOU LOADS!!
I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment expressed in the message, "Exam's tomorrow afternoon, thank you for the recap, it was very useful." As someone who understands the importance of preparation and revision, I appreciate the value of a thorough recap before an exam. The recap serves as a concise summary of key concepts, enabling a better understanding and retention of the material. It reinforces the learning process, helping to solidify important information in our minds. Moreover, having a recap before the exam provides a sense of reassurance and confidence, as it allows us to review the most relevant and essential points, ultimately enhancing our performance and reducing anxiety. In this context, I genuinely appreciate the effort and usefulness of the recap, recognizing its significance in aiding my preparation for the forthcoming exam. 👁👄👁
omg thanks so much!! ive got gcses this year and im not doing that great in computer science (around grade 5). ill share my gcse score after results day! everyone else who has gcses or mocks now or in the future i wish you the best of luck! you can do it gang!!
@@s1perry Hey sir, just had the paper 2 today and would just like to thank you for your videos again. I have 1 question though, there was a trace tables question today which was worth 4 marks. I carried the variable to the other rows even though the value did not change... How many marks would I get??
I absolutely believe that this video was exceptionally beneficial for my computer science learning, particularly in preparation for tomorrow's exam. This video provided an invaluable resource by focusing specifically on the topics and content relevant to the exam. It presented a comprehensive and concise revision lesson for me, effectively covering key concepts, algorithms, programming languages, and problem-solving techniques that are likely to be assessed. The video's clear explanations, visual aids, and examples greatly aided your understanding, making complex ideas more accessible and easier to grasp. Overall, this video proved to be an excellent tool for our computer science learning, Thank you s1perry.
Thank you so much for this video, I have found this subject extremely hard and you have really helped me understand as much as I can understand for this exam. I really appreciate what you have done. I hope everyone has a good exam tomorrow and we have a good paper.
Thank you sm for this video! I have my computing paper 1 tmrw and used this video to make notes and done past papers. Predicted a 7 but hoping for an 8 😭😭 I'll update how the exam goes tommorrow and on results day. Again thanks sm s1perry, lifesaver for real
I'm doing my exam next year and I moved schools, now they put me in cs as I missed yr10 and missed out on all the ICT coursework, I now have to self-learn everything, these videos are so useful especially since you use the actual specification through each part and explain it really well, the only thing I need now is to learn how to program on python for paper 2, if you could make videos on programming, it would be extremely helpful, thank you so much.
you have single handedly carried me from a grade 6 to a grade 9 , from my mocks to my actual GCSEs!!! I am beyond grateful for your help which led to me getting 94% overall when I was averaging around 55%!!! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
@@ar2207z bro I’m so pissed about it, in my mock I got a 9 but in the exam I got a 5, the exam board screwed everyone over, it wasn’t just me. But in my last test in college I got an A so I know for sure it was the exam board 😂 I hope you have a more reasonable exam board my guy
LAN and WAN definitions are incorrect. The mark scheme opposes the use of 'covers a small/large geographical area'. You want distant or close together.
@@s1perry yea there was one on colour death, we had a binary code and there was a table that included red, blue, green purple and 4 indidividual for each colour digits represent the colour, we had a box with 12 squares inside it and we had to fill the name of what colour appeared in box 1, 2 etc
I think you forgot to say how multiple cores can be a disadvantage as some computers are not compatible with more than 1 . Just wanted to point it out because it came up in a past exam paper 😊
Just finished the 2024 test, ngl this video carried me so hard. Ty Edit: I got a grade 6, 5 marks of a 7. Honestly this video was the only reviison i ever did for computer science but i still got a solid pass so thank you
@@BusterFortnite if I remember then sure. Tbh paper 1 was pretty easy dare I say. Paper 2 was also relatively alright. A grade 7 is what I'm predicting, and 8 if I'm lucky
Hi, I have two revision videos for the 2022 papers, although as they were reduced spec they only cover part of the course. I'm hoping to have time to prepare extended versions later on.

Hi! I just wanted to say, I sat the exam today and i heard a lot of mixed opinion about it but for me it went really well i loved it :) There was just one question that i don't remember exactly but it caught most people, it was about an artist wanting to publish her artwork images online on a website by uploading photos. We had to state which one was the client and which one was the server and briefly explain both, i put the artist as the client (since she was requesting the file upload) and the website as the server. Apart from that it was a pretty satisfying exam!! Hope paper 2 is even better.
i put that also, it was confusing, but i dont know, i was getting a grade 2 before, but this video has helped me soo much. My friend didnt see the full question for the colours on so he just put random colours. also im just not good at computing, it is an anomly
