Thanks for the report. Three man at the Gordie Howe Friday in Canadian water. 35 fow Color didn’t matter. Hair jig, finesse tails and WW did the job. All males, 15-20”. Go get em guys and gals!!!🎣🐟😃
Great report. Drove home from Florida yesterday. Went around Toledo and crossed the Maumee river. Had to be more than a couple hundred guys out there fishing. The run is on. I will venture out in a couple weeks when I acclimate to this cold weather.
Nice report John we ended up doing our annual Good Friday trip we ended up with 20 fish with 4 guys. Fished mid river new bridge to golf course all on the American side.
Thank you for sharing. We were fishing for 3 days Friday Saturday and Sunday. Wasted a lot of time on Friday close to shore didn't find any fish, moved to middle to blue line and fished there for next days. Managed some fish no records but still great time
Similar to what I found: Wasn't marking any fish in close to shore, although I saw one nice fish caught up there. Marked a ton of fish (mostly smaller males, I assume) near the channel, along the mud line. Should get better and better for the next few weeks.
I plan to stay far away, because I expect all of the ramps to be crazy, but I suppose if I were going I would launch at Elizabeth park or St. Jeans, depending on what part of the River you intend to fish.
