I miss when we could debate policy and differences in opinion, instead of everything becoming a contest of lies and hate. It's such a rarity to see bipartisan legislation anymore, I was surprised to see things like the bipartisan infrastructure bill signed into law.

I remember my first time in Chicago, and being there for a work, and seeing Obamas outside of the office we were working, and thinking who is this guy? I had not heard of or seen him at the time. To realize that later he would be the POTUS. Wish I could have met him during that time.
