The Cosmo Jarvis miss was the biggest snub to me this morning - and yes, I was expecting at least one Shogun actress in Supporting (Moeka Hoshi was my prediction). Not that the show underperformed this morning, but I still felt it deserved more acting nods!
She is a wonderful actress but the "justice" meme is probably best reserved for people who did not win the best actress oscar twice in the last ten years with two supporting actress noms mixed in.
There were six in comedy actor and actress because there was a tie in one of the categories. And if they go to six in one they do it for the other as well.
Don’t get me wrong, I am predicting Jean Smart to win, but I don’t think it is as big a slam dunk as you both are implying personally 🤷♂️ I think Ayo is the moment and could win 😁
I was surprised Tom Goodman-Hill got in. I thought that would be too loathsome of a character for him to get a nomination. Will be a trip to see him turn up on the red carpet next to Richard Gadd. 😂
I’d like to see Jonathan Bailey win over RDJ. It really feels like his moment (and his performance is brilliant), but I wouldn’t discount voters seeing RDJ on the ballot and voting for him because he’s a familiar name.
