It has been 1,174 days since Ford Motor Company has last updated the F-150 and in this video we are going to tell you everything that is new with the 2024 F-150!
One thing that Ford has done is updated the ordering process. They have reduced the ordering complexity by 90%. This should help speed up the ordering process. Now onto the exterior and all the updates. You are going to see an updated Grille, Headlights, Bumper, and hood as well. But the whole framework of the vehicle will remain very similar to the 2023 F-150. Some of the packaging changes include: Chrome package is standard on the XLT and Lariat. The sport and the black appearance package have now been consolidated into 1 package. The last big change to the exterior is what Ford is calling their pro axis tailgate. This is super helpful for getting in the bed of your truck without completely letting down that tailgate. Onto the interior of the 2024 F-150 will also be very similar to the 2023 F-150. But the technology has had a huge step up. Onto engine changes. The 3.3L V6 is gone so that ordering complexity can be reduced. It is also important to know that they are reducing the availability of some engines on certain trim levels. One huge announcement is that Ford is expecting 25% of all F-150s to be ordered with a powerboost hybrid engine. For trim levels there are some changes. The Limited is gone and now there are things like the Platinum and the Platinum Plus. Also Lariat and above are only offered with a 4WD system. Onto the Raptor and Tremor, that are both getting some decent upgrades. With the Tremor, there is a modular front bumper and suspension system that is available as an option. Also a dealer installed a winch is an option.
