The 2024 Fiat 500e is all-new, designed from scratch as an EV and bringing the fun little hatchback into the future with significant safety, infotainment, and powertrain updates. One of the most affordable EVs available today, the range has increased to 149 EPA estimated miles combined thanks to a larger battery pack, and city driving will deliver an even more impressive 162 miles of range. Level 3 charging is also available for the first time via a CCS connector. Material quality has increased as well, and three trims (or drops as Fiat is calling them) are available at launch. Join me as I walk you all around the new 500e taking a close look at the exterior, cargo, and interior.
Thanks to Fiat for early access to the 500e.

I test drove one and was quite impressed by it. It was more fun than the larger Chevrolet Bolt and liked the styling over the Mini Cooper SE. Mini Cooper SE (US Spec) definitely had more power BUT the range around 110 miles MAX is too low. The Fiat 500e felt slow to start off the line compared to the Mini but when it was moving around 20mph, it had the same kick in terms of power up to about 65mph. If the Fiat 500e was brought to the US with 155hp (like the ABARTH spec in Europe) then this would be a fantastic winner... Dealer quoted me at $350 a month with no trade or down payment (includes tax and fees).... That is still too much money. If Fiat had these with a $200 a month lease w/o any down then they would sell like hot cakes for people who want to use it for commuting.

I live in the UK and they aren’t rare to see - I love them! Just waiting to see some Microlinos and maybe a Citroen Ami now :)

I want to add that the wireless chargers are almost completely useless if they do not have cooling. I have one in my Wagoneer and I tested it in the Fiat as well and they both stop charging after a few minutes.

Very informative. Here are some aditional information from me owning this car. The passanger seat is not adjustable, you are only able to receive 11kw charging ( AC ). Ive only been able to get max 265km on the dash (not real range). In sherpa mode you are only able to go max 80km/h. The voice control is also not that great. The armrest also stretches but hight is not adjustable. You have keyless start and keyless open. İf it wasn't for the lack of range I would keep this car forever. Everything about this car is just amazing. Hopefully in the future, they come up with a battery package that increases the range. Other than that, its a perfect car.

Nice review, kind of refreshing to see a small electric car. You have the first 500e coming out in 1997 and that seemed a bit early to me. I looked it up and from what I can tell it came out in 2013.

Thanks for watching! First 500e was definitely at 2013 model in the U.S. What time stamp did I say/infer it was 1997? I could possibly correct that with some text overlaid on the video.

@@MichaelDrivesOfficial 23 seconds. My suggestion is to get your hands on an 2025 Ioniq 5 Limited when it comes out as I think there will be huge interest in it. It’s a very exciting refresh for those who are interested in the car.

@@Molishious I totally goofed, thank you for catching. I intended that to read “2017 500e” (which was the MY of that orange one). I added a blur over the text and it will take a few hours to take effect. I’ll absolutely be requesting a 2025 Ioniq 5 to review when it’s available in the fleet in my area. Stay tuned!
