HI GUYS! With the galley down and 1 head this would make a fabulous floating bachelor pad! Navy blue hull is my fav. Plenty of room for W/D and water-maker. Toss in some solar and VIOLA! That said I myself don't chase women anymore. I almost caught one last year and scared myself half-to-death! :) Be well and happy, Duke
I think I would opt for inboard, bow primary, mini galley down, one head, and a split windscreen. And I would paint it platinum silver. Then I would move it someplace where it's not 100º and 100% humidity. Like the River Dart. 😉
Hi , Rico & Victoria, good seeing you today showing three boats . I have missed you these last few days. I guess you two are visiting adamis, I know you are excited to see her in the water. I'm dieing to see her too. Oh well I guess all in good time. She is bad to the bone. ❤️🫠🔱🧜♂️👍
@NautiStyles - I saw you on Alexei's video where you came in when he was having a conversation with the capt. That was taking a I believe a 92 ft. Vessel over to islands in Europe. It's too bad Victoria that no one got you a chair. I kept waiting to see if someone would slide one over to you. Well, it was good to hear there might be a few boats all going together across on the northern route. I have personally seen it in a troop ship that had waves as high as top deck. Wow, ten days of major sea sick. That was no fun at all. But that's my kind of luck, I guess. Well, I'll be watching for updates on Adamas. ❤️🫠🧜♂️🔱👌
Luv how you can go crazy with the customization.. colors, and layout.. as long it's safe and will not affect the boat's performance .. luv the orange one.. 🥰😍
I didn't say before but definitely the internal diesel engines, the design of these is so cool. Liking the hidden anchor, the room without passerell is huge storage definitely enough room for a weekend or maybe a week.definately
Blue with inboards full windscreen with the orange layout below deck with doors but with so many options I'd have to play with ideas 🤩🥰 this was a fun tour. Nice to cya Udo!
Great tour guys! Ok here are my choices- Blue Hull, the two cabins, but lose the day head. I would go with the inboards, just so I can use the back for diving! I also like the layout in the back of it more. The windscreen would have to be a full one, it gets windy and nasty here in the northeast-especially in the spring and fall. It’s funny whenever I see the large storage spaces, like the one with the outboard, for some reason I think of it as the “husbands dog house” 😂 2:50
Victoria, you asked if Rico said "water hooker" when he was talking about the water hookup. A bit of trivia for you. In Ireland a Hooker, as in a Galway Hooker, is a one masted sailboat used primarily for fishing, and a Dutch Hooker (originally spelled Hoeker) is a two masted sailboat ⛵️ used for fishing! Hmmm, "Water Hooker" for the name of your boat...nope!, probably better not even consider that one or people are going to be expecting to see an upside-down pineapple painted on your boat! LOL! 😮😅 I'm liking the Blue one the best, possibly some influence from Victoria's dress color, (even though the Chocolate color is nice just being so unusual for a boat which would make it stand out), with the big swim platform, extending shade, and the cockpit seating area also has a nice extra benefit of having cushions all around that you can use for privacy when suntanning (especially if you're going for "no tan lines!"). Love that the anchor covers are spring loaded so there's less to go wrong and break than if it was electric or hydraulic!
My Fjord preferences. The Hull Fjord 41XL. Inboard diesel engines. Full windshield. Retractable electric Bimini extension. Two heads. Passarell. However the cabin layout of the Fjord 41XP in the video with focus on sunpads aft and of course forward. Closed off bulkheads layout to have some private adult time without kids getting "disturbed". Color: Chocolate outside and inside, possible with really cool 70s grapics in orange/brown on the external hull (Austin Powers inspired). The seats of the Fjord 41XP in the video. Reasoning: Inboard diesel provides a good hydraulic/actuated swimplatform, ideally combined with a sunpad aft. Less focus on dineing, but passage both sides and dinneing for 6-7 people. Gally not prioretized, propane griddle is great for serveing hot food. Icemaker and "bar" prioretized. Lots of fridges for beverages. The chocolate colour is easily maintained, children will mess up any form of white interior in minutes (they are like little Marines, eating crayons, and you know, the rest). Two heads to accomodate for two people haveing bowlmovements simultaniously. Full windshield to protect the cabin under way in the rain, or heavy spray. I would use my Fjord 41XL under challengeing conditions as well. Diesel engine is safer for me, since the gasoline vapour can get trapped, no aireing out necessary. Fireboy installed in engine "compartment". Diesel provides running reliability as long as they have been successfully started and running. Even fuelpressure, no need for variability of fuel and extra ignition, compression ignition. Speed is not my priority, but reliability under very challengeing conditions is. Closeing bulkheads is necessary also to let children go to bed and fall asleep without the adults haveing to be completely quiet. Also secureing the spaces underway. Would 90% of the time be used for daytrips. Two cabins sleeps 4 people, for those other occations. Lots of refridgerated space is a huge pluss if under way for more than 24 hours, even if docking intermittently. Great episode! Thank you!
"No high heels on board" one last laugh :). Great vid, neat boats. I'd definitely go for the diesels, I mean c'mon, look at that swim platform :). I agree with Vic, it's a weekend boat, but I mean, a really nice weekend boat. And Bronze color, cuz it's different.
Love the second layout but I’d have the forward bed as a convertible dinette and small galley instead of the bench seat… and id like mine painted the blue/green colour of your logo 👍
I'm not a big fan of outboards on larger boats but for that I'd make an exception, that lazarette is amazing! Outboards, full screen, closed forward cabin, open rear, galley down. Colour? Dark blue with black hardtop. She'd be a great dayboat or weekender.
Someone needs to get Rico some water, he looks like he’s ready to pass out! 😂 I personally thought all three boats were really cool and all three would be so much fun to take out for a weekend! 👍👍 The fact that you can modify the boats to your own liking as far as features and colors is really cool too!
Those are some really cool looking boats. The blue color looked really good and the the orange boat had a very nice layout. Oh, the anchor was very slick.
Ooooh, Norwegian design!🤩 Beautiful boats that are made for warmer climates. I haven't seen any newer Fjord boats in Norway since their smaller cabin cruises from the 70's and 80's. Not many of them are left though.
My favourite colour, definitely the orange, internal galley, keeping the outside for eating and drinking, the second layout on the cockpit, full windshield,
Gorgeous! I think my ideal combination would be all the externals from the blue model (inboard diesels, massive dining area, full windshield) and the open-plan interior of the orange. No clue which color I want, though - especially because their website lists dozens!
It looks like Rico needs a squeegie! I like the chocolate, but with the inboard, a full windshield, and the 2 head interior. Thanks for the wide selection!
ORANGE and BLUE!!! Already made for Adventure Armie! LOL I usually press play and walk out of the room, so I'm completely surprised when the tour starts. I had no idea that those were going to be the colors!
I would do the orange interior layout and windshield with the brown boat exterior and for color I would pick baby blue and brown (wood) trimmings with tan vinyl. 😬😁🙏✌️😎
Orange boat😍 Interior from "chocolate " boat. But I'd like to fit in a Galley. & possibly a washer. Just cause🤷♀️🤣♥️ Love ya'll ❤ & thanks for all ya'll do.
Up here in Citrus Co. it's a bit cooler, 94 degrees. I went out to my garden at daylight and worked for two hours pulling weeds and planting seeds. I was sweating big time too. Those boats look like they would be fun to scallop off of. Season just started.
Lots of boats this morning Great tours❤❤❤ But the flat brow is just not my meow. Perfect for south Florida where its all "look at me" 🎉🎉 Love the stripes and hats. Yall do really good tours, looking sharp
I love the orange being my favorite color! But with a cream pearl or metallic two tone like my hotrods. Also, I would love to see this boat with an expandable sedan instead of just a hard top, I think this would make the Fjord perfect in its use of space with the full galley option. If that setup were to be available I think the 41XL would be the perfect candidate to take on the Golden Loop of the Eastern US which has less people complete it than successfully climbing mount Everest.
If the front of the roof overhangs the top of a full screen ...you can draw ventilation up under the roof from off the screen in a passive ram flow while underway and then direct it down and towards the helm seats inside. Add a solar powered fan system while stationary...😉🧙🏻♂️🇬🇧 As for the final layout option just a sliding pocket door or curtain.
Perfect 41? The XP outboard version, fast and gives you huge Lazzarette. The sun pad at the stern version, for when on passage, up front pad for when anchored etc. Need the extendable sunshade at rear, as you showed lol 😅, Rico was too hot... Orange hull, grey dash, white reflects too much, black is too hot in Florida. Full windscreen, rains and thunder every day in Summer. Private cabin below, it's a 'fun' boat 😜 Kitchen downstairs, there's only really a grill on deck, need coffee maker, toaster space for breakfast etc. Can I have it now please? Lol 👍
I like the engine layout of the first boat. It gives you a lot of storage area. I like the rear cover of the second boat. The sun can be brutal during the summer in the US Southeast. The love the interior of the third boat. The Half window is what I would have put in one of these boats. Brown , blue or orange? Give me the orange! I wonder if you could put a small one to two person sailing cat on the back half of the outboard motor model. I like this boat and the presentation was great.
I know you said weekender, but… could see living on one. I like the interior of the orange boat. Outside color of the blue boat. If money doesn’t get in the way, make most of the inner color a different shade of blue.
Gulf ?ivery or Martini Rossi, 600 outboards, full berth up front and 2 berths in back, the passarelle storage needs a drain and then its a kill box, ice chippper xomewhere, tackle storage. Rod holders, a cclosed aft section, no sunpads but a livewell a d bait prep station.
I'm surprised you don't do these boat tours in the early morning or in the evening. That's what we do here in the desert southwest. All outside activities (if possible) are done to avoid the midday heat. P.S. Victoria is a little bossy to you Rico. 🤭🤫
Rico, you seemed to be breathing a little hard after simply getting out of that sofa locker! Maybe it is nothing but I have seen this before. Go get a stress test. I have argued with people over this before and got the same answer. I'm ok, it's nothing, I watch it. Get a stress test. It is simple and may save your life. Two of my friends ignored shortness of breath and I lost them. I took mine and now have 4 stents, a new valve and a pace maker. So simple, do it!
Had to laugh near the end of your video. My wife and daughters went on a cruise liner holiday just after Covid. I couldn't go because of work reasons and common sense. I bought my daughters t-shirts with apples and oranges printed on them and I bought my wife a shirt with pineapples on it. (My wife has a masters of education and makes fun of me because I don't) My daughters told me many stories about the wife literally running away from "social encounters" and to this day she still doesn't know why... ("Ice-cream is a dish best served cold." Old Klingon proverb.)
Hi Rico and Victoria. I live in the UK. They wouldn’t happen to have a fully enclosed centrally heated cockpit by any chance? Perhaps a nice long burner in the cabin? 😂
I like the blue or orange boat, definitely not the brown. I’d have a 3/4 hight windscreen, with the option to be able to have a piece of screen to fill in the 1/4 gap. Fridges on deck and in the cabin and cooking on deck. Do you think those Fjord boats could hand really rough 2 or 3 metre waves, as there didn’t seem to be any sort off bow flare, just straight up and down. I would have the 2 outboards ( diesel ), not the inbuilt diesel.
Loved these boats. They are definitely weekenders, but wow the fun you'd have. I'd go inboard outboard engine. The open concept, one main head with shower, I would like small galley inside, but also a small galley with barbeque on deck. The colour scheme I actually liked all 3 you showed. Really good video and why was RICO sweating and Victoria you were not. Looking forward to next video
