I ordered this same truck but with an 8 ft bed and a ‘22. It took eight months to get it and the massaging seats were deleted because of the chip shortage. I then decided to order a ‘23 with the hopes of getting exactly what I ordered. Ford was doing the same thing this time around (the seat contour delete with a $300 credit). I fought with them about it and they decided not to build it. I then ordered a ‘24 Limited F350 lbsrw Carbonized Gray. I received it 8 weeks later. Yes it was very expensive but it was worth it. I absolutely love my new truck.
Great video no talking just great slow camera work. I was curious to see how the F350 sits with the heavy duty front suspension. I ordered this same truck last month except with a long bed.
@@InDepthLook As they say... a fool and his money.... If China make a move on Taiwan, you can kiss your inventory goodbye! Taiwan makes the most advanced semiconductors on this planet with 5nm chips and if you think the pandemic shortages were bad.... When the S hits the fan, tooling around in a $100K truck probably isn't the smartest move and just makes you a prime target!
@@andypedro8905 Of course. Folks who are stuffed to the gills with cash they don't know what to do with the money! Our lives can be turned inside out upside down in an instant when China makes a move on Taiwan! The show we are watching on TV on Ukraine and Israel seems unreal and most people are co pletely disconnected from it! So maybe this is a good time to get that SHTF 4x4 truck!!!

@@InDepthLook Thought I'd ask...😂. I put 3to4k miles on my M3 a year. My friends who actually own diesel trucks etc told me given my driving habits ..an f250/350 is not ideal. They said I don't drive enough and diesels need to be driven etc. A raptor is an option..
@@Zach78z Absolutely we are all very happy they are being put back into these trucks. Makes the Platinum, King Ranch , Limited worth the money over a Lariat.
@@InDepthLook two reasons: (1) standard bed is parkable in the city, long bed isn't. (2) standard bed has 12k GVWR which is still personal vehicle in many states, while long bed has 12.4k GVRW, which gets you into commercial vehicle territory (derating defeating the purpose of SuperDuties).
I love the truck, but I agree the thought of paying $106K for a truck makes me nauseous. It’s more about the opportunity cost. Throw in outrageous insurance and property taxes on this beast, and the financial burden is mind boggling. I can afford the truck, but I would rather put that towards land or livestock. I also think Ford and Ford dealers are more “in your face” about these high prices, almost bragging about it (“yeah, it’s $106k, what about it?”, like it’s normal for a vehicle to cost as much as a mortgage…). Ford doesn’t really make trucks that can be afforded by the average person ($35K for base model xl shortbed, single cab…) I have an 2005 F150 FX4 XLT Supercab that I paid $29K for, about $45K in today’s money. But building this same truck is over $60k on the ford site). Henry Ford paid his people enough so that they could afford his cars. I wonder if the same is true today.
