Y’all salty in the comments. The amount of car meets I go to and hear whispers as I pull up going. “Oh shi is that a dark horse?” Everyone comes running. @AAutoBuyersGuide It does work now. Ford just updated the app where the inputs are instant (no more having to hold down buttons in-app). If you quickly unlock and lock in the app, it will rev. Confirmed working on my '24 GT.

I'd love to have this feature even on my boring 4Runner. Yes, I would only use it when the engine is fully warm. Practical situation? When I visit my friend some kids like to listen to the 4Runner loud engine sound. Yes I 100% understand its no where cool sounding as a good sports car but love the smile of a child and would be even better if I can do it standing next to the kid.

I think this is cool actually. However, I hate when they program the remotes to where you have to remember a whole sequence of clicks to enable it (or any other feature). Reminds me of the old Nintendo days when you had to memorize up, back, left, left, down, back, etc.

I think I've seen a Mazda key-fob with a little light that confirms your remote start worked and turned on your car, I'm not sure if ford has this but i think it's a cool way to know your remote start started the car

I am very torn. If I lived in town (where most people do), then I would want to slash the tires the first time someone tried this… In the country I can’t hear the neighbors anyway so they can do what they like. Realistically however, nobody’s going to use the feature if nobody is around to hear it…

This is just bad for everyone who doesn’t own the car. I think it’s going to make other people dislike fords and ford owners. Still a long way to go before ford owners are disliked as much as Tesla or BMW owners … but it’s a bad move, I think. People should need to go to the after market for stuff like this.
