I took the new 2024 Giant Reign Advanced 2 to Tucson and was planning to do a "short travel vs Enduro mtb" video. I thought there would be a broad difference and some situations where it would be obvious where short travel would be better and where long travel would shine.
The strange outcome was: I couldn't make that video because it would have been a lie. The crossover of types of trails and features that can be thoroughly enjoyed on a downcountry or a modern enduro is mind blowing. We live in magical times for full suspension mountain bikes.
Other bikes I've ridden that the Reign reminded me of: Pivot Firebird, Niner WFO... and hoping the newest Rocky Mountain Altitude and Marin Alpine Trail will compare similarly.
