Welcome to Grocery Haul #5 for 2024! I go over *almost* all of the groceries but leave out a few items that will be included in an upcoming $21 A Week Grocery Challenge! I did include the dollar amounts in the final total though! I'm still very happy with my average monthly grocery budget for the year. With the garden in full swing I'm hoping to do some more PANTRY STOCKING over the summer whether it's bulk buying or canning!
Awesome! Thank you! I have the 1st $21 A Week Challenge up today! I was aiming for yesterday but the first video is always the most editing lol See you soon :D
Hi Jessica, I’m back after being away for family matters again. Can’t wait to catch up on your videos. Ironically, I just came back from the grocery store to re-stock after being gone, bought three boxes of cereal and thought of you! Looking forward to the $21/week challenge! Great grocery haul!
I recently reorganized my spices and now have to challenge myself to cooking by spice now that I’ve officially given up cooking by condiment…hope it goes better!
hey Jessica its me Lola your friend from Texas i just been busy and not with tornado stuff either how you been ? and your challenge this time doesn't look so bad ..and you always seem to make interesting things out of your hauls..id take your crazy windstorm over the tornados we had here
Hi Lola! We had nothing but rain, rain and more rain…and then wind and now it’s supposed to get really hot! I hope the garden holds up! It’s nothing compared to tornados though! 🌪️ I can’t imagine! Stay safe! 🤗
@@JessicaWanders oh yeah tornados suck but we're used to it that's what storm cellars are for and rain lol we just got done with floods of it .but now it's heat..good luck with your garden instead of a scarecrow maybe your better half can rig you a garden tent it's shady keeps rain off but still let's in light to grow your food think like a pop up green house lol well I gotta scram ttyl
If you get buddig brand cheap meet in Canada its a lunch meat ..but you can take the beef one and make sos its not that bad and pretty affordable..weve gotten some of your products here so if you ever see buddig in your area Jessica its not that bad..😊
Thanks for the tip! I think I’ve seen it and bought it from Walmart? It’s great and very affordable! I love it when they offer smaller amounts for less money! It’s great when you’re on a budget!
@@JessicaWanders yup I almost flipped and laughed when I saw bacon and not Canadian actual bacon but a brand from your neck of the woods at a grocery store all the way down here I never heard of royale brand before but it was like 2.50$ and I ended up with 6 or 7 packs and it was not bad...but I think it said product of Canada on it haha so I think it's funny you get our bargain lunch meat..but their beef is good for sos and the ham one makes great ham salad or a ham and cheese omelet but we also chop it up for pinto beans.. well ttyl
I love apples, but I refuse to buy them this time of year. It is out of season for them. They taste about as good as fresh peaches in the middle of winter...not good at all! And you pay top dollar for them. Ok, rant over. I am really looking forward to your $21/week challenge, Jessica!
I totally understand! They are a nice easy snack for Mr. Wanders to take to work is really the attraction ;) They ARE very expensive this time of year! I'm pretty stoked about the $21 challenge too! :D
