You could track your various incomes on the Notes pages at the end of the month and if you don't use all the categories on the first page, you could possibly log the totals there. Just an idea. I have this same planner and I have used Happy Planners for a number of years for different areas of my life. Hope you enjoy your new planner.

I love the dividers as well. Unfortunately, I purchased an undated happy planner 6:59 budget planner. Because I teach school our new pay period begins in August. I love being able to track expenses and keeping a record of bill paying. It's changed my life for the better.

Right?! It gives me such peace of mind just knowing where I stand. And I can see how having an academic year budget planner would be helpful as a teacher! I work in schools too (although not a teacher) and there are just some things that are easier to track within school years instead of calendar years.

Is it better to buy a planner just for budgeting or just add the filler pages or extension pack to your existing planner? I wish i could see how people are using this one

I wanted to get the full planner because I wanted the cover and discs too. I like having my budget in it’s own planner. Also, from what I can tell, the extension pack doesn’t have the weekly spending pages, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to use the happy planner version for my budget planner. I also like that the full planner is dated. But if the extension pack has what you need in it, and you have another disc planner about the same size that you want to combine it with (or cover and discs to make a book from scratch), then I think it’s fine to just get the extension pack. I won’t start using this one until January (because it is dated), but I am going to show my setup in a video probably sometime in November. I plan to add additional pages to it. But in that video I’ll talk more about how I’m going to actually use it.
