Good day everyone. I live in South Africa. I have my BRV CVT for about 14 months now and covered just over 50k km. I drive about 90km per day and majority on the highway at 80-90km per hour. The max km i got from the 42L fuel tank is about 570km. That translates to about 13.57km per litre of fuel. So please don't be fooled by the 24km per litre in the video.

I agree! I also got 14 km/l when I traveled in the province due to the hilly and muddy terrain, so it might be the same for you. However, when I drove on a straight highway at 75 km/h, I managed to achieve 23 km/l. I think when you throttle more, you spend more fuel, and if you maintain a steady speed, you use less, possibly because of the i-VTEC? I'm not sure.

To me this is the best compact 7-seater suv, but I really wish in the future they will upgrade the powertrain. The torque isn't just enough to climb a 30% grade incline with full passengers.

@@ABG0 lol, lately I notice "drivers" saying "driver issue" when they see cars couldn't climb steep roads. This makes me think they have not experienced everything in driving. News Flash: some cars are not just capable, regardless of gears used and acceleration.

@@jaredgalvin bro I drove a mitsubishi mirage g4(76hp, 100Nm torque) to Baguio via kennon road with 4 adults + luggage and the car did well. I told you driver issues.

@@ABG0 ahh...so you think Kennon Road is steep?? That road is almost flat compared to some of the roads within Baguio City and its outskirts. Like I said, I bet you haven't tried everything related to driving.

VX Owner here (3months old na) walang reklamo, sobrang smooth ng lahat plus pa yung honda sensing swabe at chill mag expressways. Pogi pa SUV jr haha walang problema sa lubak or humps dahil sa good ground clearance!

@@buknoy4185 Yes sir, malamig naman kasi nagkukumot si inay sa 2nd row at jacket si bunso sa 3rd row. Number 3 lang fan ng AC at 22c. Pag mag full 7seaters, pwede lakasan ang AC at Fan sa driver side at yung sa 2nd row pwede mo iadjust ng level 1, 2 or 3 kasi hindi sya blower na walang controls.

@@ops_intel Hindi pa kami nakapag 7 passengers, 6 people pa lang max with cargo, nakapag Batangas, Tagaytay, MOA, Greenhills na si brv and we live sa Calamba. Hindi pa nakakarating sa norte, never nagkaproblema sa mga ahunan or palusong, maganda hill start assist so hindi ka aatras sa mga tarik so I guess more than enough na ang 1.5L engine nya, can easily overtake sa fast lane ;) Sobrang lambot ng steering hehe You can opt sa HRV sir if hindi mo need mag 6-7 seaters pero hindi pa ako nakasakay ng HRV so diko macompare yung actual experience. I suggest na itest drive mo both ng TOTL ni BRV at HRV para makapagdecide. If madami kang time you can test drive all mpvs na kalevel ni BRV like veloz, xpander, stargazer, xl7, livina. Personally, ok ang zenix lalot innova yun kaso medyo malayo na ang price. Good luck!

not true my honda city 2009 GM model is still running good everything is all stock except for the shock absorber i need to replace due to wear and tear with 90k odo my periodic maintenace only cost me around 4-5kphp for change oil and filters

Shame on Honda for using a garbage CVT that can barely handle the torque needed to move this thing. Also, the 2nd-row seats are the narrowest among its competitors. This is because this car basically shares the same platform as the City and the HR-V. If you were to get this get the 6-speed manual. CVT is a garbage form of transmission. Can't be rebuilt, very difficult to service, and very expensive to replace (which is the only option if you encounter any problems with the CVT)
