For those who own this vehicle like myself, I highly recommend having a front strut bar installed which links the left and right suspension strut towers for better handling and balance since this vehicle is front wheel drive. It reinforces and stiffens up the chassis and makes it more stable by reducing chassis flex. It also counters the flaw found in MacPherson Strut. I've really noticed the difference specially when cornering. It's also easy to install and not that expensive either.
This is a placebo effect. The strut upgrade offers no mechanical or performance benefit; if it makes you feel better, that's okay, but it will invalidate your warranty as Honda does not recommend it.
This channel is my go to for car reviews. Everything is covered, and well detailed. Plus, we have the same height so I can imagine how I fit inside these vehicles.😅
I don't know but I felt a bit emotional in the roadtrip scene. Not sure whether it feels very relaxing or maybe I can't afford a CRV 😀Anyways, a very good car review as always Sir Jay
I went to a Mazda showroom to check the cx60 and the sound when I closed one of the rear doors the rattling sound it produced when closing was so discouraging , my wife and I look each other eyes 👀 , I ask the seller and he replay “what sound ? That’s normal” … I said to my wife “ok babe time to go if that happened to a stupid door I wonder how’s the quality inside ?” . 😕
This is model is niche in terms of pricing.. 2.5-2.6M will give room for some models like the mazda cx60 with inline 6 engine or Subaru outback with more potent engine and symmetrical AWD. Well, thank you but no thank you HCPI.
the 3rd row is utterly useless, so you wont be missing that at all. but at that price, I dont get why they couldn't retain the 4wd system. Their ADAS is lagging behind the one you get in subaru, and the fuel economy is not as good as other HEVs. haaay inflation..
worth it naman po. matagtag pero matatag. maganda po engines ng mga toyota no. 2 po sila at no. 1 lexus. compared po sa everest maganda po talaga riding comfort unlike fortuner. pero mas comfortable po e drive si crv.
@@allanjay2540 Yep! I meant for the other variants, VX and V. Otherwise, the RS is good. But being the compact SUV type, it should've been more spacious. Really disappointing.
Wow, for it's size that is incredible fuel economy. Especially sobering is when you said you expected better pare. I have a RAM Rebel, luckily not my daily, but we are talking maybe 5.5 km/l lol. Though I know owners of quite a few diesel PPVs that aren't that much better in city driving.
You could avoid it by avoiding Kennon road and taking Marcos highway instead but at the time, I didn't know. I would be sweating bullets if I was in a sedan.
I'd rather get Hyundai Tucson 2.0 diesel gls. 186 hp plus 416 Newton meter of torque. For 1.840 million compared to crv rs 2.594 million. Pricey, you can save 700k plus
Are you aware that not every person want a diesel engine? Different strokes for different folks. This CR-V is hybrid and more modern than the outdated Diesel engine which are soon be phased out whether you like it or not.
@@marinerchris Lets be honest, it's likely the most asked question when someone is buying a new car in the Philippines, can it make it up Baguio full of passengers. Though clearly this car has plenty of power to do just that, especially since just a 5 seater.
