Brought this 2024 CRV LX for my wife on Labor. Was very hesitant upon buying it being I'm a Chevy fan for life! After driving it from time to time for New Years i traded in my 2019 Silverado almost on a even trade for the 2024 CRV EXL. Who ever would've known i would do this. But absolutely love the decision i made. Love this car

It looks nice. In Canada the EX is called the Sport and comes standard with black alloy wheels which I don’t like. I am wondering if the 1.5 liter engine is durable enough to last 10 years plus? Does the back seat fold nearly flat? Good video as was informative!

Yeah I love how Canadian market gets better trim levels haha. It does fold almost flat but since it doesn’t have a false floor it leaves a ridge/hump between the seat back and the trunk:/.. Turbo engines require a little more care than non turbos so my one suggestion would be that every time you drive, just don’t turn the car off right away when you pull up to your destination. Just give a it a minute or so and then turn it off. Turbo takes a lot of stress in itself. I’m glad you’re enjoying the car and the switch tho🔥

@@Cartalks100 good reminder about running the engine for a couple of minutes after finishing a drive

I love the design hope they do not elongate the rear anymore because some of are not trying to drive an SUV that resembles a car. I have nothing against cars I actually drove one for 15 years.

I hope so too. I agree, the elongation keeps pushing the car out of its original segment

That won’t keep people from buying it. A lot of cars don’t have fog lights. Lmao

My car has them, but modern LEDs are so bright and focused that fogs are redundant. I used mine once but the difference was imperceptible and I now don’t bother.
