Long time avid Harley rider that finally woke up to feel what beast of machine the 2024 Goldwing is, loved it so much that I purchased it on the spot! But I sill have a Harley Low Rider ST as I can't totally leave Harley behind but the Honda Goldwing is the "TRUE" Cadillac of the highways~.
Heading to the dealership mine has arrived all blacked out I’ve rode Harley’s and still own 3. Took my buddies gold wing for a 10 mile run we switched instantly hooked! Bought one Tuesday getting it today! 🎉
My 2020 DCT Tour is by far the best machine I have had in my garage in 35 years on 2 wheels. I refuse to trade it for HD or Indian. I am addicted to this beauty. Its an Escalade on 2 wheels.
Got a second-hand one (2021 DCT Touring without the airbag) a month ago, after a whole slew of motorcycles since the late seventies until the early nineties. I was a bit scared since I hadn't driven a motorcycle in a whole while and being 62 meantime and unsure if I could handle the thing. Well, all my fears have been swept away as of my very first drive, which was from the garage that had the bike on sale, to my home, with a slight detour through a park on my etinerary, just to cop a feel of slow, short turns with such a heavy machine. There were a few disturbances, but that was just me. You can't try and steer the machine with a puckered arse and squeezing your knees. You have to steer-in and let the machine do its thing, while at the same time keeping a strong hand on it. It's like having a walk with a big dog. Let the dog do its thing without letting go of the leash. Paid just under 5000 Euros for a bike that had about a thousand kilometers. Thanks for the video amigo. Warm greetings from Belgium.
I've been buying 'Wings since the '03 model. I usually get a new one every 5 years. The '18 would have been my next new 'Wing. BUT.... I don't like several things about the '18 thru '23. The fact that the Airbag model is only available with DCT is a deal breaker for me. I pull a trailer and ride two up much of my mileage. I don't know if the DCT would stand up to trailer towing, and I bet money Honda would deny any and all warranty issues when they see a trailer hitch. The '01 thru '17 bikes are just bulletproof. Built like a Mack truck. Low tech but ultra reliable.
I own a 2018 bagger, it's a large comfortable sport bike. I can't imagine nor have I driven anything better. If I buy another bike, I'll trade in mine for another.

Does the 2023 model of baggers have traction control ? (HSTC)
In essence, this Bike has a too small battery for all the electronic demand, access to the battery is locked, if out of juice. The access door on the left side is locked by the left bag which is also automatically locked. You need to find a solution before it is too late. I recommend 2 extensions (+/-) with access from beneath. (with water protection)
How many km on the single tank? As far as as I know, there is nothing to do with "long trips"( Only 180-230 km. It is shitty. R18 BMW Cont. up to 500 km.
Worst thing about the Wing ? When they pass you , it’s surprises you , because they’re so Damn Quiet ! You do know they’re there , until they pass your side window ,
125 horsepower with 130 ft lb of torque. You know you can look the stuff up, right? It's a ridiculous monstrosity. For the same price I can get a brand new Toyota Camry and still have money left over for a nice used cruiser.
Why if it is so good is it so hard to change the air cleaner. Why does the tour pack open forward and not to the side. Why do the seats suck. I can just imagine trying to change a tire. A little more thought maybe. Other than that really nice.
Try an indian challenger. I own both. The indian out performs the honda in every aspect except lean angle. Honda beats it at that. But still a nice bike
Honda Engineers: Please fix the seat, make the air filter more accessible (somehow), give the slipper clutch a little more slip on the MT model and please, please improve the speakers. Do that and you have a great tour bike. In MHO after 4 years with my 2018. Oh yes - GPS - just get Garmin to do it....come on guys....
I think 1800 is already passed enough I think it is not a good idea to have too much power between your legs 2100 is insane 😂 it won't be fun to have such an engine btwn your legs lol😂
