Would like to see the alpha x30 and torrex xt set up at 25.5 draw 60 pounds to see difference in speed and performance comparison . Would the alpha x30 be worth the extra price over torrex xt?
Chose this after shooting the RX7 the past two years. It is no doubt the most dead in hand bow that I have ever shot. Absolutely love the customizablity of the cams, not to mention the extremely smooth draw cycle. Hoyt is going in a fantastic direction.
I have the 33 and the Trophy Ridge Propel IMS and I really like this rest. It is a solid integrated, limb driven rest with micro adjustments at half the price of Hamskea.
I love everything about this bow! I’ve been a huge supporter of another bow maker for the last 30 years…until now. Do your self a favor and shot the Alpha X30, you won’t regret it…ever!
It actually balances better than the carbon version. Also the .25 inch adjustments for the draw is really nice for people who truly want to find their actual draw length.
Gotta say this was a much smoother draw and less shock than the Mathew’s Lift. I still need to shoot the PSE Mach 30 and compare but this might be my next bow and I really wasn’t expecting to say that.
Haven’t shot since 2000 have mq 1 from back then . Think this is the bow I will be going to looks amazing sounds like will be best bow for my short 25.5 draw hope it will be good speed at 25.5 lol .
Just got the alpha X by hoyt great bow i shot all the flagshit bows at my local pro shop and shooting them side by side and 60lbs i shoot usually 55 so 60 was a little hard but thats all they had but the hoyt made 60 feel like 55 or even 50 i draw back no issue's compared to the other bows i shop the hoyt i kept going back to the draw cycle, the back wall the shot everything was what i was wanting I even shot the VTM felt very similar but i got the Alpha was only a little more and they had the camo i wanted in the alpha X plus this is my first flagship bow
I still use a 2012 Hoyt Vector thinking about upgrading to the Alpha X. Vector is 4 lbs . Is there an advantage to having a heavier bow like the Alpha?
Cant beat the price, this years bow is the same price as last years. Mathews are increasing in price yearly plus their add ons are priced ridiculously. Not a Hoyt fanboy but this year they impressed me
