I recorded this with a GoPro Hero 9 on a chest strap. I had trained for the marathon but got sick a week before the race and decided to drop down to the half.
Sadly I had the camera pointed more towards the ground then it should have been, making this a more detailed look at the streets of Champaign-Urbana (and my hands) then I would like. Lesson learned, I won't repeat that mistake when I run the Chicago Marathon later this year.
If you're thinking about running this race, I say do it! I definitely enjoyed it, the atmosphere and crowd support was really great. I've signed up for the full next year.
Shout outs to the guy in the "Grosch" shirt (we probably passed each other 10 times) and to the girls at 1:35:40 who saw my GoPro and gave me a shout out.
